In my opinion Julio looked closer to the end of his performing career a few years ago than Jose looks now.
Every dancer is different.

I was at this event a few years ago, and I asked this guy to dance. He was very kind and sweet, and the dance was very nice. Afterwards, I was talking to my friend's dance partner, and I remember saying "... and he looked just like Jose Manuel Carreno!"

She bopped me on the head. "That's because he IS JOSE MANUEL CARRENO!" (She was a Joffrey-trained dancer.)

And yes, he's definitely straight.

coincidentally, we watched the BORN TO BE WILD dvd just last night!

and i DID finally get to see CARRENO dance in SLEEPING BEAUTY. it was a little bit of heaven <3

definitely still missing GLEBBY ...
