I keep forgetting to do it. No offense meant!

Not a fan.
It's totally hot, but I totally do a double take almost every time I see it 'cause I always forget it's there...
So..the correct title of this thread would be Jose's Accent.

I like it.
My maiden name had an apostrophe, so I do try to remember it. Jose' if I forget it I am sorry!
I love an accent and the name Jose is HOT!

But in his username, it's not an accent. That's why the title was "Jose's Apostrophe".
I have used about seven different search engines, and I cannot find ONE entry with the listing "Jose'" (with an apostophre at the end of the name.)
The ONLY listings are "Jose" (just English letters) OR "José" (with an accent over the e--as Abba has already pointed out.)
THE WAY OUR QUIZMASTER HAS CHOSEN TO SPELL HIS NAME IS PURE AFFECTATION AND HAS NO BASIS IN FORMAL USAGE WHATSOEVER.
Ah, he's gotton enough out of me, Paradox.

Yes, and last time I checked underscores weren't part of regular usage, either. It's a username, not a sentence.
Plum, REALLY.
It is common practice to join two well known names by use of an underscore.
It is NOT common practice to arbitrarily add an Apostrophee to the end of a common name to invent a totaly new name.
I stand by my prior post.

Once again- it's a username, not a sentence. I'm not seeing how usage and grammar rules apply to online aliases, but hey, that's just me. Of course, you could say that displaying characters with accents is an iffy prospect on computers in general because different systems handle it different ways, but I doubt that much thought went into it.
I find the apostrophe amusing.
