If true, this could be pretty cool.

Nothing more than a rumor, but a good one.For some reason,I could see this possibly happening.
very ineresting
If Nolan can get that Joker out of Heath Ledger, then he can surely get a good Riddler out of any actor he so chooses. Bring it on, I say! :3

Brillaint chocie. Even though "G.I Joe" wasn't that great of a film I thought he was an excellent villain. He was the Cobra Commander in it. Updated On: 6/9/10 at 07:01 PM
Inneresting indeed!
Interesting, an actor who has grown up with Heath Ledger's likeness (at least I think so) could play a villain very similar to the villain Heath Ledger played. I love JGL and definitely think this is a great fit, Nolan saw him up close with Inception (though I am a bit skeptical with that film) so I do trust this possible casting.
Oh, I just LOVE him!

If this comes to pass, he has the acting chops to pull it off. I have watched him grow as an actor and feel he is one of the most interesting young actors around.

That makes it sound like Mr. Ledger didn't bring anything to the table himself, and I can't quite get with that sentiment - especially after all I read during the movie's production.
Considering how GREAT he was in INCEPTION, I REALLY hope this happens.Hearing rumors that details on BATMAN 3 will be announced at Comic Con.

Kinda hard to take that piece seriously when they seem not to understand that the Riddler and the Joker are two different roles....
Yeah, I thought that as well. I think they meant that Heath Ledger is a difficult villain to follow, which is true. I'll keep my ears open because I forgot Comic Con is going on right now and that would be the perfect place to make an announcement like this.

I pity any actor foolhardy enough to try to follow Ledger's Joker as the villain in the next Batman film. Ledger's Joker is a triumph for the ages, and I refuse to believe that Nolan had very much at all to do with it. At least he had the good sense to not get in Ledger's way. A pity Nolan couldn't have gotten anything like lifelike performances from Freeman, Caine, and especially the block of wood known as Christian Bale in these films.
On the other hand, at least it isn't Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin.
Whatever. I doubt I'll see it in any case.

Isn't he young for The Riddler? Has the Riddler ever been played by a younger actor? Is that consistent with the comic books, because I'm told that the comic book fans demand their screen interpretations of these sorts of characters be exactly right.

I had Sean as Louie the Lilac with Kristen as his frustrated moll.

I was thinking Clay Aiken as Louie the Lilac, myself.

That was one Batman Villain I couldn't stand- but what about Lady gaga?
Michael Cera as Bookworm!
And they can bring in Betty White to play Aunt Harriett.

Betty White must play the Black Widow.
Touche. Though I was hoping for Connie Stevens to take that one!
And John Ratzenberger as The Puzzler.
What happened to the Robin Williams rumors? For anyone who has seen ONE HOUR PHOTO, Williams' approach could offer a perfect blend to the character.
