I've come to the conclusion that I want to try my hand at auditioning for Grad Schools. This maybe a stupid question, but I'm a little foggy on Graduate schools in the NYC area. I know NYU is a big school, but it's mostly undergraduates, right? I know I have a friend that is going to Juilliard for Drama in the Graduate Program, but I cannot find any information on it. Has anyone here done it? How was the auditioning process? Etc.
The NYU acting graduate program is extremely well-thought of and has regularly produces a number of well-regarded working actors.
I am under the impression that there is just one Juilliard acting program, which anyone can audition for.

NYU is actually the Tisch School of the Arts.
Look up URTA, University Resident Theatre Assn, which is part of TCG, Theatre Communications Group (tcg.org).
There are also a lot of good grad schools away from the New York area. Keep your options open.
