Just how many heart attacks have the new *talking* BWW ads induced?

We may never know.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

doesn't anyone else get these same ads anywhere else? I get the same ones from myspace and yahoo sometimes.
"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

One of the things I always loved about BWW was how the ads were more "tailored" to the community and its interests. I know the importance of ads, but it was a relief to not have the really annoying ones on this site after experiencing them on MySpace and other places. Even the Anne Of Green Gables ad, as funny as it was, was a theatrical ad.

It's a double-edged sword, I guess. These talking ads that were commonplace on other websites showing up here now indicates that BWW is drawing a larger market base - and that's good.

Either that, or the mods are punishing us for complaining about the (silent) Adult Friend Finder and Anne of Green Gables ads. Hmmm...
And no one grew into anything new, we just became the worst of what we were."

Those ads are so annoying that I don't even care that you've started another thread on it. Ugh, I am trying to listen to music and then BAM I've won 2 free ipod nanos. I wouldn't mind as much if I ACTUALLY won 2 free ipod nanos, but I doubt I'll ever be seeing them.

Thanks JAG2! I thought I had been foiled. I made it this afternoon to post in a thread that was deleted. Since the thread was deleted I decided to make it my avatar. No sooner did I upload it than I got the Smileys ad with the "HellOOOoooo!" I felt like I was being mocked.

Your avatar is hilarious, anyways, I'd love to see the show Anne of Green Gables, I was a big fan of the series. And this website, just like myspace, has to have ads to remain here.
We should be thankful for them, and yes, they can be annoying. Yet I hate the myspace ad even more "say something" I think it screams! Ugh.
