Kara DioGuardi leaves "American Idol."

Another "American Idol" judge has left the show. Kara DioGuardi will not return for the show's tenth season. She had this to say about her departure: "I felt like I won the lottery when I joined 'American Idol' two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave 'Idol,'" Kara said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "I am very proud to have been associated with 'American Idol' - it has truly been an amazing experience. I am grateful to FOX, FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, as well as the cast, crew and contestants, for all they have given to me. I look forward to my next challenge, and want to thank everyone who has supported me. All the best to everyone on Season 10!"

I was actually starting to like her. However, if she feels that it is time to move on than I wish her the best.

All the rumors were that she was on her way out.


As far as this being the last season? The ratings have still been VERY good -- but who knows what will happen with Simon's departure.

I seriously freaking love Kara DioGuardi. Her band Platinum Weird rocked. I'm glad she's leaving Idol, as I imagine it'll give her more time to work on her own music projects. (Seriously, she's REALLY good.)

Have they thought of bringing back some of the old, unemployed idols and giving them jobs? that Chris Doughy guy got fired from the Carwash for stealing the change people left in the cup holder and now he stands on the corner with a sign that says "Will sing for fud."

Ugh. Clay Aiken couldn't "lift my luggage" if he was the last man on earth.

Did anyone see David Archuleta on Tosh.O last week? He played his own severed head in a box to terrorize his fans.
