I can't say what she said about Oprah--but on an awards show, in front of the audience, Ryan Seacrest grabbed her from behind and ripped open the front of her blouse. Sorry, it is not cool to rip clothing off of a woman's body.

She did go up to Ryan after and say, "I think they really liked us." It was only after that she discovered she could get a bit out of it that she decided she hated him.

Of course, it is a funny bit...who doesn't hate Seacrest at least a little bit?

I think this is the first time I am in complete agreement with you, Tuttle. I was enjoying the reality show, although not as much as I always enjoy her standup, until she had that major meltdown about the Leno thing. It blew me away - first of all, what he said about her is nowhere near the level of what she says about others, even if it was to her face. I'm sure he thought she would find it funny as it plays right into her brand of comedy. And getting a little upset is one thing - she really lost it. Even her husband seemed a little put off by it - his words on the voiceover were something like, All that matters now is making Kathy feel better, but his actions said otherwise - he couldn't have kept himself further away from her on the car seat as she was blubbering. What seemed like much later, they were holding hands, but he didn't seem to make a move to comfort her when she was actually crying.

I think I'm done with the reality show now, although I will still enjoy her as a performer.

I think her talent was a blessing and now a curse. She became well known for making fun of celebs...but now she's done it SO much that everyone is offended by her, and no one wants to have anything to do with her. Take a look at the talk shows she's been booted from (Regis, Tonight Show, Letterman, Ellen). How can she get ANYWHERE without talk shows?! It's sad

Glad to see some of you get it.

Anyone who wants to go around making vicious fun of others MUST be big enough to accept it themselves.

She calls people fat. She calls people ugly. She calls people gay. She calls them racist. She calls them jerks.

And then someone makes a comment to her and she goes crazy loco.

WFT?

I could care less is she is sensitive about her looks. What about all the other celebs who are sensitive? Does she care about them? Obviously not or she wouldn't have an act.

The whole Leno thing did look staged as if Kathy wants the audience to feel sorry for her an get some pity. But..sorry Kats...it's gone the other way.

I saw this today and it was like a lightning bolt-- Here this woman is who insults about 40 people in an hour of stand up comedy and she melts when Jay Leno tells her she's not as pretty as Carmen Electra. She gets knocked down by JAY LENO and she can't come up with ANYTHING? I was astounded in the earlier episodes when she was shaking down designers for FREE STUFF ("I really need hangars! I'm going to steal these!") but her inabilty to TAKE A JOKE was appalling. She obviously is not as "Free wheeling" as she pretends to be-- she couldn't even come up with a "Oh yeah? So's your mama!" when Jay ribbed her about her looks. Sad sad sad.

I don't know. I sort of think she's funny, but her standing there and ripping on celebrities for an hour gets old sorta fast.

I don't recall Kathy Griffin making fun of someone's looks. She might have, but I don't remember anything along the lines of the types of personal jabs that Joan Rivers would take at certain celebrities--Elizabeth Taylor for instance.

KG criticizes behavior which is markedly different from calling someone ugly or a before picture. I don't see Kathy Griffin as a bully. She doesn't have power over anyone.

The point of this discussion is that Kathy dishes out snide, crude remarks about others with no cares...then goes crying foul when someone makes one about her.

She can dish it out but she can't take it.

Calling someone ugly is not the same as calling them out on or making jokes about their behavior. Mr. Tuttle, can you recall Kathy Griffin making fun of someone's looks? Would Jay Leno have done that to a man? Doubtful.

I finally saw the episode last night and I have to agree...she was being a TAD bit sensitive. You gotta take what you dish out, and with grace.

However, this does not make me suddenly want to ban Kathy Griffin from my television set, nor does it make me discredit her comedy routines. I still managed to enjoy the show, and will continue to.

Wow cmleidi. I wouldn't want to be you. Someone who goes around calling people names and making lies about them just for the sake of their career are not bad people? Wow. Reality check.

And perhaps you've forgotten when humanitarian Kathy called Ann Nicole a "fat, greasy pig". But that's not calling someone ugly, is that?

Yeah...as I said before, she needs to learn to take what she dishes out. She is very often cruel in her comedy routines, and though I laugh and find them funny, do you really think that Anna Nicole, or Clay is laughing?

What's that saying? One shouldn't throw stones when one lives in a glass house? Toughen up already, woman!!

Freebie whore is putting it lightly...I couldn't believe her attitude about the "couch". She actually expects to get things for free because of her name?

I'll have to remember to try that tactic next time I need a new couch.
