Poor Cheno. The girl tries her hardest, yet still seems to fall short:

In her defense, it was much cuter on tv when you could only see from the first keyhole up. And her makeup is pretty flawless.
You'd think success would mean being able to find a flattering dress.
It's not THAT bad. True, that weird bunched up waistline isn't so flattering, but I love the skirt and the shoes.
It's not great, but not the worst.
You'd think so, Kitzarina. Think of it this way - there worse things she could've worn.
What that woman behind here is wearing, for example.
I don't think it's that bad, especially compared to some things out there. True, the waistline does add unnecessary bulk, but otherwise it seems to be an overreaction. I mean, you can hardly compare Kristin's dress to the hideous pink-with-pastel-hearts dress further down the page.

The author fails to realize that the bunchy waist is there to catch crumbs while she is eating. Heaven forbid that when Kristin leaves her place at a banquet, there be a trail of bread crumbs.
If it was someone we didn't like wearing the same dress, the claws would be out around here.
Except the woman behind her isn't a star.
I also say give little Dakota Fanning a break. Though she is more powerful than most other actors in Hollywood, she is but a child.
A child who can afford the best stylists.
She looks perky and fresh like a Kristin should! the only problem I have is with that new bunched up waist style which is yet another idea to cause people to try and lose even MORE weight. No one, I mean no one, can wear that gathering effect around the waist and look good except maybe that actress who wore that ballerina dress a few years ago. I can't even remember her name now.
A child who is dressed like a 45 year old at that. This is my new favorite blog. Bitches RULE!
No, I actually just don't think the dress itself is that bad. I'm sort of indifferent to Kristin wearing it, although I don't think that it's excessively unflattering on her.
And Dakota Fanning's dress... whose idea was that? I agree, she's a child, and I like to see girls her age dressing rather modestly--but not to the extent that they'd have looked perfectly acceptable in the 1890s.
All of Dakota's award show dresses have the look worn by "American Girl" period dolls.
The dolls are much more stylish.
Kristin saw the dress and went, "oooo shiny!" and forgot there is more to a dress than fabric. It happens.
this is me, smiling big time.
It actually is *that* bad.
KC, I love you to death, but that dress looks like something one might find at WalMart.
I think a lot of B'way stars have fashion problems. I've seen my share of hideous dresses and gowns at the Tonys.
Well, Kristin can still sing rings around any of the other women that were there that night!
As for Dakota, Rath, she probably wielded her power and fired all the stylists when they disagreed about her dress!

That is the most un flattering dress I've ever seen...
it looks like she took shiny curtains she bought for her apartment and made them into a dress...
and I'm actually a fan of Kristin...

I love what the site had to say about Hasselhoff, along the lines of "Don't hassle the Hoff."
One freaking ugly dress, SOMMS!! ADMIT IT!!!
I honestly don't find it to be UGLY. I don't find it beautiful though either. Just a few weeks ago she received one of those "Best" dress recognitions. So, I stand by "It's ONE freaking dress".
This dress has ruined my day.
We're all just jealous.
