It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

How can a person not identify her as hot?

DUE TO FAN RESPONSE, CHENOWETH ADDS ADDITIONAL NUMBER TO UPCOMING TUNER
(BWW Newsdesk, May 23, 2005)
In response to the overwhelming opinion expressed on BroadwayWorld.com, that she was "blazin' HOT!!!!", singer-actress Kristin Chenoweth has added an additional musical number in her forthcoming musical film "Asphalt Beach". "It was ckeaton's response that really convinced me," said the petite blonde star. "I realize now that I have many fans that can really appreciate the fact that I'm what you'd call 'A sweaterful' kind of girl. But I think I can do better than just a sweater, even though it did wonders for Lana Turner. Instead, there's now going to be a beach party number and i'll be wearing a skimpy wet string bikini. And I'll be singing while I'm playing beach volleyball. Maybe I'll sing some wonderful bouncy Jerome Kern song like "Can't Help Singing" or one of my old Queen of the Night arias - I haven't decided yet. I think it would be a great way to show that I'm not just some smiling pink pixie who travels by bubble and moons over some guy in Starbucks, for goodness sakes!"

I still think she's cute as opposed to hot.
Then again, I only date men taller than me.

If you really want to help the American theater, don't be an actress, dahling. Be an audience.....
Don't be taken in by the guff that critics are killing the theater. Commonly they sin on the side of enthusiasm. Too often they give their blessing to trash...
