I was there tonight. The show started around 9:30pm after a false start countdown (the clock reached zero and then an announcement was made there was a technical issue).
During some banter, Gaga said she was informed 90 minutes before the show that the set had broken down. "But," she said, "I'm not broken." I have no point of reference so I'm not sure how that affected any staging but it never moved.
This was my first time seeing her live and her vocals are stellar. But I agree with those criticizing the venue; it was vast and impersonal, with large amounts of empty space both on the field and in the stands which created that aforementioned distancing feeling.
