Lady Sovereign--my new obsession

So I went to the Gwen Stefani concert last night--and Gwen's first opener is Lady Sovereign. I had heard of her on PerezHilton, but never knew what kind of music she sang or why he loved her so much. Her presence on stage was just...amazing to me. She was hilarious and weird--and I went to 3 stores today trying to find her CD, but I had no luck. I ended up buying her CD off Amazon.

Any other fans?

btw--Gwen Stefani was amazing. INCREDIBLE concert--I'd love to go see her again in another city this summer if I can. She's so much fun on stage!

I love Lady Sovereign! "Love Me or Hate Me" is one of my fave songs right now. You should get her album "Public Warning"

Just downloaded "Love Me or Hate Me" cause Missy Elliot is one of my favorite musicians outside of Broadway music (which there are not very many of). I loved it! Maybe it is because I think Missy is fantastic, but that song was really good!

They promoted her very heavily on MTV awhile ago. I think she was the first female artist to be signed by Jay-Z's company.
I just noticed she is like a female-British-Eminem. Very masculine, so that's why probably Perez Hilton talks about her, since he likes to "out" people in the entertainment biz.
