This is a HIGH SCHOOL paper she wrote. It's at about 4th grade level (not that that's surprising).
In high school, she was touring the country in a high-energy concert act, making more money in a year than most of us will see in a lifetime.
I wouldn't expect her schoolwork to be AP level.
She's already taught us about "Pantiesgone", what more do you want?
"I wouldn't expect her schoolwork to be AP level."
And yet, Justin strikes me as pretty intelligent.
Is it too much to ask for intelligence, or is that anti-American?
Just because you are touring the country is no reason why your english should not be properly developed as a teeneger. If anything, it should be motivation.
Here's the necessary line from that link:
"So we wondered: what kind of work DID the young Mouseketeer do, during those rare moments when her stage mother allowed her to be schooled?"
You getting the picture a little better now?
If there were any intelligence in that girl from the beginning, she'd find a way to be educated, formally or not.
This isn't about completing a university degree.
Her quote from Farenheit 9/11: "I just think we should trust our President and do whatever he tells us to do."
^ and i'm the one gettin' banned!
Sorry, I really have trouble judging someone who comes from a underserved area with underpar school systems, who was then pushed by her parents to go out during what should have been her high school years and work her ass off - not on some cushy TV series, but on a solo concert tour. They didn't care about nor encourage her education. They sent her out into the working world instead, so they could live a lavish lifestyle. Your problem is with them, not her.

Give her a break. She was raking in money and being high energy. Only nerds would expect her to crack open a book once in a while.
No denying she aint a bright bulb, y'all...but that would get a B minus in any high school in America, I'd wager.
I think 25 years old and still a complete moron is a bit ridiculous.
But i don't disagree about her parents.
I'd forgive her if she'd stop hanging out with Brandon Davis and return to form, because she did make some really fun pop music.
ah, tiff and i are two minds separated by a chromosome.
I'm more concerned that whoever was correcting it didn't bother to circle "looses her brother" in the very first sentence.
From what I read around here, "looses" is the new "loses."
and if anyone knows loose, it's rath.
gimme a break, calvin. i was distracted as i was posting on some crazy message board while proofreadng her work. ah, how times have changed since those days.
LOL Calvin.
Not to mention, "A advisor comes along..."
Wow, ah kin juss' hear her sayin thayt while poppin her gum.
dont you remember the part about Antigone's brother's and his belt, Calvin?!

B+? You don't think you're being generous?
I'm wondering what the essay topic was, though - "explain the plot of Antigone"?
do you think she still pronounces it "anti-gone" ?
Antigone is this stupid book about this stupid girl who steals vegetables from other people's garden.

It reminded me of Robin Hood!
I said B- which is fair...considering I gave a B to Christina's report on Beowulf.
