And, I never think that an artist should keep their mouth shut at their concert--I remember during the whole Dixie Chicks/Toby Keith feud, thinking that both performers had the right to express their differences. I didn't agree with Toby Keith, but I never thought he should shut his mouth.

But it is the perogative of the presenter to pull the plug on the show... this free country grants the same rights to him as it does to her.

I want to add that if you are going to present someone, you have to expect that you will need to deal with this kind of thing. If an artist is known for being politically outspoken--and you want to avoid it, then do not present them.
