Lisa Kudrow or Julie Delpy?

Which blond do you prefer?

They're on such extremely different spectrums to me that... wha?

Lisa Kudrow or Julie Delpy?

I'm watching Julie in the "Before...After" series with Ethan Hawke and she reminds me a lot of Lisa Kudrow.

Those are the movies I most associate her with--but I can't think of a similar Kudrow role off the top of my head. When she does dramatic--in the movies I've seen--they tend to be bitchier characters.

I think Julie's character in the "Before...After" movies has that same "Oh my God" sensibility that we see with Phoebe in Friends. Not so much Phoebe's airhead quality, but that perky "oh my God" quality.

Yeah, they are nothing a like so this kind of threw me for a loop. Lisa Kudrow or Julie Delpy?

If I had to choose overall? Probably Lisa Kudrow. Friends is one of my favorite TV shows and even when a movie is crappy, she can at least make the best of her part.

But Julie Delpy is brilliant and the Before trilogy is my favorite trilogy of all time. The third one still breaks my heart.

Tune in next week on "Blonde v. Blonde" when we ask: Shirley Temple or Leni Riefenstahl?
