Longest you've ever cried?- Page 2

I have a good 1-2 hour cry every six months or so. I'm relatively new to the boards and haven't gotten to know anyone on a personal level yet, but it seems like we're all behind you and wish you well. I'm patting my shoulder for you to lay your head on and cry it all out if you need it.

I hadn't thought about it, was about to say not that long... but then remembered about a year and a half ago, I had a "shock to the system" of sorts, and spent a good 6 hours, on and off... crying.

But I did learn from it... I hope it all turns out in the end.

For many hours when I was six and my sister died...that was pretty much my whole family in a room sobbing until I finally just fell asleep. I think crying really takes it out of you and after a while the body needs to shut down.

My father died when I was 13, and while I cried a lot that week, it was when I went back to school again that I lost it. I had no friends in middle school, and this one guy who was always particularly mean to me started teasing my family and I for our misfortune - I just flipped out and cried for several hours straight, and it took a lot to calm me down.

I usually have a good cry every few weeks or so. Even if my life is great (which it has been, lately), I think the catharsis makes it better.

I'm a very strong person, and people often take it as being cold and nasty - but I'm not.

I cry really hard, get tired, and sleep.

Color and Light, that is absolutely terrible. I am sorry for your loss. My dad died when I was 5 years old, so I understand how sucky that could be. That kid should be hung by his toenails and beaten with a stick.
