**bump**
where the hell are all the other LOST fans?
Still sleeping. Loved last nights episode.
LOVE THIS SHOW TOO !!!!!!!!!!!! It's seems the only show that can actually drag me away from this site. I wonder if we'll ever find out why that thing didn't kill Locke...did he kill it??? Is Doc hallucinating or what??? Are there other survivors on the Island??? So many questions.
That snotty blonde chick has sooooooo got to go!
Hey Mom..they should feed her to whatever that thing is.
I'm with you on that one! What she did to poor Dominic! Erin was so ready to strangle her. (And I wasn't about ready to stop her!)
And I'm afraid Dom's going to hook up with one of the blondes...*sob*
Yeah, soaking wet hobbit. NICE.
We need Dr.Jack to get soaking wet.
It just keeps getting better and better. And, finally a show that EVERYONE I know is watching!

The blonde chick isn't going to go anywhere. She's eye candy.
Do you think we'll ever find out what the monster is? I just read an article explaining that it's representative of their "fears," i.e. a "symbolic monster," so I'm worried they'll never show the damn thing. Updated On: 10/14/04 at 08:31 AM
If "it" is representative of their fears, it makes complete sense that Locke survived the face to face encounter. He had NO FEAR on last nights episode!
I really like the pregant girl. (Claire?) and Charlie is wonderful. Hurley is the DUDE!
Very true, very true, SOMMS...unless...he's in LEAGUE with the monster! *dun dun dunnn*
I can't wait for Charlie to get all withdrawal-ey so Dom can really show how good of an actor he is.

OK, so my take on Locke facing the monster:
- I applaud the theory that the monster is "fear", and he has no fear. But I question the physical appearance of it. Trees are moving, ground is shaking, there's noise.
- I believe that the scary show paradigm might kick in. Locke has seen the monster, and now he's "changed". Dead eyes, or the ability to see more than the others.
There is so much that is great about this show, I can barely contain myself when it's on. I've recuruited two more households. :)
are they re-airing this episode?
I don't know, since it's brand new. Perhaps later in the season?
oh so hoping that this one comes out on DVD
I'm sure it will eventually, mom. It's JJ Abrams, after all.
They'll probably run a marathon of them against something big.

Keep an eye on ABC family.
During Alias' first season they fan a marathon of the first 10 episodes on New Year's day.
Bottom line is ya GOT to set yer Tvio!
Locke is the MAN! (I said it again)
****SPOILER IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE****
Do we think his got motor control of hes legs back from a miracle, some wild-ass healing thing on the island, or something in his spine got nudged back into place due to the crash?
I disagree with the 'fear' theory (though it is a good one) I agree with cKeaton on the trees moving, etc issues. Plus, the Pilot getting ripped apart wasn't no 'fear creature' That and the Polar Bear. Something WILD-ASS is going on on this island.
All this AND the whole 'colonel' thing....getting that call in his cubicle... hmmmmmm.
Meanwhile, everyone is afraid of leaving the beach, right? So what do they do if they gotta take a dump?
Well, the "fear" theory is something the creators of the show said in an interview. So perhaps it's a physical manifestation of their fear. Either that or it's a boggart (for the Harry Potter fans), taking the form of the greatest fear of the individual looking at it.
I thought, when I saw him playing the game, that he's just a fan of those RPG board games, and it happened to be a military one.
When those trees and bushes shake and bend they are distorted and blurry leading me to believe that the intent is not reality but perception. We'll see.
