This bothers me, I just thought I'd share it with you all with the shred of hope you might care. This is what someone posted in my live journal. It's someone I know, but it's anonymous. I was very hurt at first, but then I realized the person was writing the same kind of thing in my friends' journals too. Take a look:

"How are you and Paul? I heard he likes Sam. Man you two really are "best friends." You like to share everything, even guys. Awwww thats so sweet! Lucky. Oh and I dont think broadway will want an over weight red face. Maybe you can go take some drugs like your "good" friend Ashley Green. May I suggest diet pills?"

Thoughts?

I don't think Broadway has special requirements...they accept "over-weight, red-faced" performers. Don't let it bother you.

I think what I wrote back is my best piece of literature yet!

Thanks! It was an ad I got in the mail for a gutter cleaning system. I liked it because it was random.

Anyway MyName, I think you should go with SumOfAllThings and get the bastard an IRS audit. :)

Here's what I wrote back kids:

Let's see... where do I begin? I find it SO funny how you think calling me an overweight red face is going to insult me! That's a hoot. You can't insult someone with something they think is true! I am fat and red and I know I probably won't make it on Broadway. It is so comforting to have somebody who thinks that too! We should start a club! Just you and me. Oh no... you have to have friends to be in that club! And talent. I guess that leaves you out! Oh well, you can still be in the club with all the other guys who eat paper and make fake crop circles! In terms of being overweight and Broadway not wanting me... I suppose your stupid ass hasn't heard about Hairspray, huh? About the diet pills... who wants to look like Anna Nicole Smith?

over the years I have found it best not to sink to the level of those who are trying to get the best of you. Kill them with kindness is my motto. Just go on as if nothing was ever said and show the bastard that you are happy from the inside out and that you don't need the assurance of his or anyone else's admiration or friendship. Show him that you are a whole and unique individual who loves himself and doesn't need anyone else to make him happy - that is the best thing you can do in a situation like this. If you stoop to acting like him - you are only feeding into his own personal bad behaviour and encouraging him to continue. RISE ABOVE IT. BE THE BETTER MAN.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

It's someone you know, but is anonymous? So you really don't know who it is, right? What a complete jerk- definitely make your journal friends-only, because some people (like this anonymous person) can really make you feel bad (which is what they did).

Ahh the anonymous live journal derogatory-noter.
I've always seen this particular breed of person as some of the lowest people on earth.
Here you have your typical bully, the kid who in elementary school pushed you around because he/she was too dumb/ugly and had to make him/herself feel bettter about themselves.
They grow up to do sh*t like this, sitting ON A COMUPTER, leaving a NOTE ON A LIVEJOURNAL. I mean- dissing someone on MSN is pretty pathetic too but at least there's two-way conversation. In a note situation, they're safe for a while because there isn't instant retaliation. It's the "safest" way for the wusses to feel big.
Now isn't that just sad?
