I like some of these tracks. But Britney isn't an artist - I'm not sure she is even a performer, or singer for that matter.
It's 12 'hook' tracks, and nothing more.
I like random no-name studio artist albums. But not when they try to be anything more than throwaway music.

Its up at LOGO and VH1, too, but I can't get any of them to work.
I already have most of the songs and the album is already preordered, but still. I want to listen, damn it!

Posted: 10/23/07 at 4:41pmI think it was a good call to not include any half assed ballads. Unfortunately, it does make the whole album sound very same-ish. They should have upped the tempo on a couple of the songs to add a little distinction here and there. But, honestly, it's still a pretty good pop album. When you're going with completely fabricated it really doesn't matter if your star is an absolute trainwreck.

Posted: 10/25/07 at 8:06pmBumping because I'm listening to it now. Overall, not that bad of an album. I've always enjoyed the music she came out with, so I've been pretty excited to see what she was coming out with. A lot of the songs will be catchy when I know them.

People Magazine gave the album three out of four stars.
And Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+

I luv britney spears... and i happen to like this album... its kinda different... who knew that she was going to make another album while shes going through this mess wit these people.
