"Oh my God! Someone's been sleeping in my dress!"
"I have an astronomical discovery for you. The man in the moon is a bitch!"
Classic Bea Arthur...the best. Sorry, but I love Lucy too. I just don't like Lucy singing... Ricky was right to keep her out of the act all of those years..ha ha

I've ALWAYS wondered WHY they put that thing on her face! (Re: Santa Mask)...I wonder if she had a dance double, and they were trying to disguise her double's face.
BTW, at Sidetrack, the Chicago video bar, every time they show the production number "Mame," most people take a pee break...the number goes on FOREVER....almost as long as the "Hello Dolly" number with Streisand.

I finally saw this back in January, and I actually loved it. Granted I went in with low expectations.
My biggest complaint, was the fact that Patrick fell for the maid vs. the Interior Decorator, and the explination of knowing each other as kids.

The title numbers in the film versions of "Mame" and "Hello, Dolly!" are pretty much the same length as they are in the stage versions. Exception being that in "Hello, Dolly!" Louis Armstrong is brought in, in a wonderful cameo.
These numbers are not long at all.
