I had dinner with him at the restaurant Dovetail (on the Upper West Side) following a Travel Channel presentation back in April.
He was on a liquid diet then, so couldn't eat any of the delicious dishes that were ordered for the table. It seemed such a waste to be at that fabulous restaurant, but it was a business dinner, so he was a good sport.
The diet appears to have worked. He looks great.
(Nice guy - lots of great stories!)

Was a really stupid move on his part!People in the public eye have to be very careful and learn the power of Social Media. I am sorry he lost his show over an Instagram war but he did cross the line and any network worth it's salt would have done the exact same thing.

Ugh. He acted like an asshole for sure (and apparently he has thing for telling people to kill themselves on Twitter, so he's no class act), but this is just effing stupid. Him not knowing that "#thinspiration" is a buzz-phrase tied to pro-Ana sites (indeed, him even knowing there what a pro-Ana site is) is not unusual. MOST people have no idea what they are.
But, like I always say, celebrities should really think twice before posting anything on the internet. It just so rarely goes well.

Agreed. I had never heard about #thispiration before either. The problem is how he reacted when someone pointed it out to him. And he kept refusing to apologize. My guess is he's sorry now.

BYE. He should absolutely have known better. He isn't the first to do this. He has had plenty of opportunity to see other celebrities screw up on social media.
