See? THIS is why I love BWW. How else would I hear about the phsyco who severed his wife's head?
I'm no coroner, but I'm guessing the cause of death was decapitation.

It's always fatal when people lose their head

"A man transporting his wife's severed head in a pickup truck crashed into an oncoming car, killing a woman and her 4-year-old daughter, police said. The impact sent the head flying onto the road.".
I think he got this idea from "Crazy in Alabama"
"The head-chopping is announced almost in the first scene. Melanie Griffith plays Lucille, a woman who is clearly insane, and who kills her husband, decapitates him to be sure he is dead, and leaves for Hollywood to be discovered. She takes his head along, and frequently hears his voice..."
The last part sounds like SIN CITY. Didn't he also hold someone hostage?
That is so effed up. Wow.

"An autopsy was scheduled next week to determine Theresa Time's cause of death, Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris said."
Now really, is that necessary?

Well it's possible that she was killed by some other means before she was decapitated. So, yeah, it's a necessary part of the investigation.
"Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris"
Like she totally frosts her tips.
I'm just sayin'...
Stereotyping is bad. He could've shot her, then cut her head off. Or stabbed her. Or poison. Arsnic and Old Lace taught that you can't taste Arsnic. Or was it Chicago?
It was Flowers in the Attic.
That's right. I should mention that on the gay addiction thread.. I used to watch that movie a lot. What? Don't look at me like that. I liked Louise Fletcher.
*continues to look at him like that*
*Hides behind a mirror.*
Maybe FictionWriter IS VC Andrews...
VC Andrews died twenty years ago. I'm not her. Or the ghostwriter.
You mean ghostwriters.
Well if that is not the cheeriest headline to read on a Sunday...
