"Mmmm...Steve Antin in LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN. He's gay, y'know."
Is he - he had the cutest butt and showed it in that picture.
Yep. He's the older brother of Robin and Jonathan. And apparently David Geffen got a piece of that butt!
Yeah, that was her!
And remember George Clooney was on Facts of Life......

Doodle, yep, that is she! When I was a kid in St Louis she had a brief stint as a newscaster. I also took dance where she had taken dance and there these ginormous pictures of her singing with Mickey Mouse and sh*t all over the walls!
Remember when Blair dated the retarded (their word, not mine!) guy that she thought could change? That was in the second or third season.
Remember when they had the comedienne with Cerebral Palsey on the show? Wasn't she Blair's cousin?
Of course! Who could forget Cousin Geri??? She had a small part on DEADWOOD, too.
Coustin Geri, the standup comic!
Geri's still kickin' it!

Remember when Stacey Q. guest starred?
Connie (Elizabeth on 8 is enough) is still cute

She is still cute, Craig.......I like her haircut!
Don't remember Stacy Q, but I do remember when they all sang back up for El Debarge!!! You wear it well!

Stacy Q guest starred as Cinnamon.
Remember the episode were Tootie went effin bonkers over Jermaine Jackson? Like hysterical crazy when she wasn't gonna get to go the concert.

She does look good--like a younger Jobeth Williams.
The Jermaine Jackson episode was good! One of my favorites was when Tootie was stranded in New York and befriended the teen hooker (Tammy Lauren--who would later show up on the wonderful Homefront).
You guys have much better Facts of Life recall than I do!
Phyllis - That Susan Richardson page is hysterical! My favorite entry:
In Sep 22, 1979, Adam Rich, Dick Van Patten, Susan Richardson, and who knows who else guested in "CHiPs" playing themselves in episode: "Roller Disco: Part 2"
Is there any part of that sentence that isn't funny?

Oh, Matt, there are many quotables on that page. I'm partial to this one -
In October 19-23, 1987, four of the children guested on Password Plus. I guess there were Susan, Grant, Adam, and I'm not sure about the fourth, Lani? I don't know who won because NBC interrupted the last day with some news bulletin.
I also wonder - in the one you quoted - does it mean they were playing themselves the people or if "themselves" means the Bradfords.

That page is really funny yes.......
I assumed it meant they were playing themselves as themselves, not the characters, but now you've got me doubting.
Don't even get me started on Facts of Life and my unrequited love for Mindy Cohn. But yes, Sue Ann was quite possibly the worst actress the show ever had.
Sue Ann: "Blaire...this tapioca...it smells funny."
*pushes Blaire's face into bowl of pudding"
Blaire: "SUE ANNE!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What?
And Tootie and Natalie bought bongs because they were told bongs were jelly bean holders. BONG! BONG! BONG!
I love Tootie and the teen hooker episode. Tootie was rocking that cleopatra headdress.
Remember when Natalie was sexually assaulted while wearing a Charlie Chaplin costume? I remember how terribly dramatic it was when it aired.
My favorite character in the first season was the tomboy, Cindy. I was wowed when she got all gussied up for her first dance (or was it a "cotillion"?). And the episode with the flood where Blaire developed a crush on Mr. Bradley was so exciting!
OH! And Miko, the Westernized Japanese girl! "You've come a long way, baby!" I totally recognized her as Mai on Men in Trees.
Oh jeez, now look what you guys did. I'll be thinking about Tootie playing Eleanor Roosevelt and Blaire having another one of her brilliant ideas and Jo visiting her father in the slammer all day.
I do remember the episode where Natalie was sexually assaulted, but didn't remember the Charlie Chaplin costume part. That was actually a pretty dramatic episode.

Come to think of it, practically every SINGLE episode of The Facts of Life had an afterschool special vibe, but it still managed to be adorable. I'll always have tremendous affection for that show.

To quote the episode where Jo's teacher friend (whose name I forget, but I remember she was played by the mom from Just the Ten of Us) was dying:
"There's no E in Blair!"

When I started rewatching them from season one, I couldn't deny that it's corny as hell, but the producers really did seem to be trying to send positive messages to young girls.
Virtually every fade-out in the Facts of Life before the commercial break featured Mrs. Garrett looking worriedly out into space. I have prefected that expression.
StockardFan - You don't remember the Charlie Chaplin costume??? They were coming home from a party and Natalie took a short cut through the bushes and...
well....
I just don't want to talk about it!
*quickly turns and runs from the room sobbing dramatically*
(door slam)
I was in HS when this show was on, and my cousin who actually went to a boarding school HATED FOL.......she was always going on and on about how "unrealistic" it was.
Well duh.
