The film is disappointingly uneven; some of it works, some of it just lays there. I saw this the day Robert Altman died and thought that it reminded me of a mediocre Altman film like READY TO WEAR.

You know within the first 15 minutes if a comedy is going to work; this one does not. I think Guest needs to find new people to work with and a more secure plot.

O'Hara does deserve a nom as she is best in this show. She should have won for WAITING FOR GUFFMAN. If not enough people see the film she will not be nommed. I do not want her to lose to Jennifer Hudson for singing one overrated song.

I loved Marilyn in her early filmwork, especially her role where she played the blind prostitute
And you know what they say about blind prostitutes...

Catherine so deserves a nomination. It's long overdue from A Mighty Wind and Waiting for Guffman.

Can I just say that the people behind For Your Consideration are the nicest EVER! So I made my Purim crown picture my default photo for my MySpace. They saw it and sent me a message that it was awesome and they were going to send me something special. So today I got in the mail a script signed by the cast. :)

I thought that was so cool and nice of them and I want to urge people again to see this film. It is so funny and there are so many great people involved, do not miss it!
