Marisa Tomei, friend or foe?

I'm not Dr. Phil, but I think all of us have been intentionally rude at some point in our lives and then regreted it later--I know I have.
People get hurt when that happens. Unfortunately, it's just part of life.
(I knew taking that College class in Philosophy would pay off some day!) :)

....while Jasmine Guy became the "star" of the series.
How's Jasmine's career going these days? Oh, that's right - she walked out on her last Broadway show, or got fired, depending on who you believe.

Posted: 10/26/04 at 10:42amI have to agree with Matt on this one....there is no excuse whatsoever for her kind of behavior....ESPECIALLY if someone else has to appologize for your behavior.

I agree that she might have all of a sudden gotten the trots.
She and Fred Gwen made My Cousin Vinny watchable.

Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:23pmA friend of mine worked with her in some movie and she apparently is the hardest person to work with, she makes everyone cry all the time and just thinks that she is the SH*T when obviouslly she is not all that she thinks she is! I really don't like people like that and Matt I am sorry that you had to come in contact with her! Ewwww

Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:28pmI am SO with Matt on this one. I'm pretty good about giving people the benefit of the doubt...but when they go out of their way to basically spit in your eye I will never be able to have any level of respect for them...as an artist or a person. Her behavior is inexcuseable.

#41re: Marisa Tomei
Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:44pmWait, didn't Jasmine Guy leave mid performance, or am I thinking of someone else?
#42re: Marisa Tomei
Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:46pmYes, pop, I believe she needed a hit of some kind.

Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:48pmWow. And to think I heard she'd had a stroke. The bitch.

Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:49pmI met Patty Hearst.
#45re: Marisa Tomei
Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:50pmYeah? Was she wearing a beret at the time?
#46re: Marisa Tomei
Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:50pmNo. Her fashion sense has changed quite a bit.

Posted: 10/26/04 at 1:51pmThis whole thing still upsets me. I really enjoy her as an actress. To this day, MY COUSIN VINNY is one of the funnier films of the 90's and one of my favorite rainy day movies is ONLY YOU. There was just no reason for that level of rudeness. I'm not ashamed to admit that I like to get my playbills signed after a show and have seen more than my fair share of people just come out, give a little wave and get in their car. This was different. This seemed personal for some reason and it's something that from a "professional" is inexcusable.

If I had a dollar for every celebrity who was ever rude to me, I'd be a rich woman today. That's probably just me though.
(Patty Hearst - not at all rude.)
