The Tree- Trisha Yearwood
Have to see the rest b4 I give any more guesses. ( maybe Matthew Morrison? Patrick Wilson?)

I don't watch this. Trisha Yearwood is touring with many dates in October and November. Would she have time to do both?

I'm thinking yes- they can work around her schedule- she started on the 1st show so if its tournament style scheduling ( they showed a board like that) I'm figuring at least 2 maybe 3 shows b4 she has to defend again.also , think Williams is on the money

The masked singer is pre taped and never live. I’m almost positive every episode has already been filmed. The Studio audiences have to sign non disclosure agreements, but that doesn’t stop people from making anonymous accounts to spoil it on Twitter/reddit, etc. I believe Season One was filmed in June of 2018 before it premiered the following winter.

100% agree with all of these. Paul Shaffer and Martin Short are close friends and also Canadians of similar age, so that is probably the reason why people were thinking Martin. The speaking voice I thought for sure was Martin but if you see clips of Shaffer singing, it’s pretty similar to the skeleton.
I’m really stumped by the Rottweiler. I don’t see how the clues match with Chris Daughtry, which a lot of people think

Rottweiler Clues - "It's not over" , his song. Hungry competitor that rose to fame = Idol. Blue roses, his tattoo (on his IG).. the football stuff I think his more a red herring. He played in high school but not really important. And it just sounds like him.
Tree - I'm guessing Ana Gasteyer (for now) . The 'dish out' - Delicious Dish SNL. Jazz up my career, she did a jazz album. (should count for 4 of the 22 Broadway credits per ibdb)

Tree might be Candace Cameron Bure. She did all the Christmas movies ( one time of the year) and has a cookware line.

People on here should be able to tell that the Tree is 1000% Ana Gasteyer. That's undoubtedly her voice.

So has Ana Gasteyer also got a big family connection that would be recognizable?AND a food connection. The singing is only one part the clues add to the puzzle too.
OH and Trisha's tour is irrelevant- show is taped hence no live tv audience votes.

The food connection is undoubtedly a reference to the thing she's most famous for... the Schweddy Balls skit from SNL. It also ties in the holiday theme. She also starred in A Christmas Story Live... on FOX.

OK I will give up on Trisha Yearwood for the Tree bcause am now certain- It is Molly Shannon. Several of the same clues fit w Ana Gasteyer but the Tree kissing a tree- pulled from the movie Superstar AND she was a food demo girl at Gelson's supermarket in Marina Del Rey. Also worked as a hostess at Cravings (soup)restaurant and yes she was on Bway as a replacement for Katie Finneran in Promises Promises...
