Guys, I'm not saying I'm mad at Delphine or anything. I'm just saying that we both cry in different movies.

re: Matt_G's Review of THE FORGOTTEN

Am I the only one who didn't cry in Moulin Rouge??

You know what movie made me cry - Shrek. Totally. When Fiona changes into an ogre princess and she's all, "But...I'm supposed to be beautiful." and Shrek goes, "You are beautiful..." Damn, dude.

Oh, and The Lion King when Simba sees Mufasa in the clouds and he's all, "Son, you have forgotten me." See, I'm getting verklempt just thinking about it.

And Willy Wonka And the Chocolate Factory gave me nightmares. But that's another story. About my issue with midgets. *shiver*

Hello, Tiff? I SO did not cry.

But I didn't cry in Shrek either. To be honest, I thought that line was horribly cheesy.

re: Matt_G's Review of THE FORGOTTEN

The movie that I cried the hardest in (besides for AiA, but that doesn't count, does it?) is Lilo and Stitch. I must have cried for over half of that damn thing. God, that was SAD.

Adding to Moulin Rouge (which I loved, just didn't really...get "into"), I actually thought Ewan McG cries funny. I can't explain it. Sort of like how Claire Danes cried in R&J and Brokedown Palace. It took me out of the moment.

And Shrek was touching, ok??? She was an---and then he was all---and she was like---and he said---- Oh, stop it, now you're going to make me cry all over again.

I was sobbing like a baby in:

1. Titanic (HE DIED! AND THEY WERE IN LOVE!)

2. Cast Away (Losing Wilson had me in hysterics.)

3. Air Bud. (Just a sad movie.)

And an espisode of My So-Called Life.

Which episode was it, Monkey? "The Zit" or "So-Called Angels"?

Julianne's lovely. I just saw her Revlon commercial yesterday for the first time. She's very beautiful and talented to boot.

Continuing the threadjack:
More movies I've cried in -
- American History X
- The Green Mile
- Finding Nemo (Shut up. Just...shut up.)

Is that it?...I think so...

re: Matt_G's Review of THE FORGOTTEN

Dear Lord no, I didn't cry at Moulin Rouge - I almost walked out of it. I didn't like it at all the first time I saw it. All of my friends thought it was great so I gave it a second chance and thought it was just ok. I love musicals and I love sappy movies but M.R. did nothing for me. Georgia was just horrible. I also really hated Magnolia - actually I hated the 30 minutes I stayed in the theatre but i really enjoyed the ice cream I got when I escaped from the theatre.

Governor, I HATED My Dog Skip! I watched it until they started beating that dog with a shovel and got right up and walked out. That was disgusting hearing that poor dog screaming.

I was...8. And I was wiping tears away. I don't know if I'd cry now, but..at the time, it was traumatic.

re: Matt_G's Review of THE FORGOTTEN

I cried my eyes out in LOTR: ROTK. When Gandlaf was taking Pippin to Gondor, and Merry was all pissed off at him... I could have died it made me so upset.

I have a deep emotional bond with Pippin. What he feels, I feel. What he thinks, I think. And so on, and so forth.
