I am loving this Volkswagen ad - and since it's gotten over 5 million hits in just two days, I guess I'm not the only one!

It's just so funny and cute. The kid is great (his hand positions alone crack me up.)

Love it so much. I agree with Pippin, even if he kept the mask on the entire commercial, we can see so much emotion projected onto his Vader mask throughout.

I love this commercial - it's hysterical.

I think not knowing the kid's gender adds another level of humor to it. It could very easily be a girl since there is no indication of gender unless you think the room w/ the doll could be Vader's room.

I found out a little about the kid, and it only makes me love this more. He's six years old, and had a pacemaker put in when he was 4 MONTHS old - which might explain why he's so 'together'. He's got a regular gig on one of the soaps, but I can't remember which one (Young and the Restless, maybe? Is that even still on?)

And he's never seen STAR WARS, which makes me giggle.

I am somewhat obsessed with this. I think it's about the best 'micro-mini' short film I've ever seen

And Volkswagen must be wetting their pants over all this attention. We haven't even reached the end of day two on YouTube, and it's views are zooming toward 7.5 million - and that's after it over-loaded at one point today and the counter froze for awhile!

Well if his parents know what is good for him, his Star Wars introduction is New Hope to Return of The Jedi, avoiding any plot spoilers, and the only prequel related thing he would watch is the Clone Wars cartoon and fill him in with a non-descript backstory (since these are the prequels) later.

Love this ad. Reminds me of when I was younger, I would pretend I was using the Force to open automatic doors...

...which I may or may not still do sometimes.

He seems pretty over-whelmed at this point. They've shown earlier interviews with him here in LA, and he was much more engaged. I imagine the last few days have been like a hurricane.

I didn't watch the game but today at work nobody was talking about football. Everyone was talking about this ad. I saw it this morning on Today and it desrves all the attention it's getting. So cute!
