Papa - I never thought Piyush was ever going to be McCain's VP. He looks like a contender in the not too distant future, but I think a 37 year-old would make McCain look even older. Plus, I think McCain's VP needs to have the appearance to be ready to step right in as Prez, and Jindal doesn't give that appearance (yet).
The name Rob Portman keeps popping up. He's had a varied background in government service and would be a safe choice. If I wanted him to win, I'd be hoping he'd choose Sarah Palin. I think it would be exactly what he needs.
