The media is buzzing with speculation that McCain may try to regain the media spotlight by announcing his VP pick this week:

MSNBC talked about this a lot yesterday. He was planning on waiting for Obama to announce his VP choice first. Apparently Old Man McCain is a little pissy these days with Obama's positive coverage in the middle east so Gramps is trying all he can to take some of Obama's thunder away.
I keep hearing Romney is his choice. Of course, the media is not very good at predicting VP's.

i don't think he'll announce this week. i don't think it'll be romney. i think he hates novak and wants to make him look like an idiot (as if he needs any help).
the mere possibility of it is enough to steal some of bammy's mideast thunder. not much but some. announcing this week wouldn't steal much more because everybody save for ryan lizza is is on bammy one.

my ideal choice would have been crist, mb. but he's got the whole "huge potential for someone whose c*ck he sucked to come forward with pics of him being topped by a drag queen dressed like carmen miranda" monkey on his back, so he's out.
my second choice - now my default first choice, thanks charlie -would be bobby jindal.
he's not picking the woman who nearly killed hp. he might pick romney, but i doubt it. i would think probably pawlenty or sanford with the edge going to sanford for the southern ties (even though he choked harder than a neophyte linda lovelace wannabe on johnny wadd this sunday on late edition).
no way to huck and no way to joltin' joe. not gonna happen. both alienate key demographic blocks for him.

Time Magazine is saying John Edwards or Sam Nunn. I like Edwards, but Hillary is still my first choice,although I know she is a very long shot.
