Corine--I was speaking nostalgically of CHARLIE'S, which was the name of the restaurant where Sam's is before it was called Sam's.
I was NOT speaking nostalgically of BEEFSTEAK CHARLIE'S.

Posted: 1/20/06 at 9:06pmI am dreading next week. It will be my last few nights at Barrymore's and I will be there every single night. I'm really upset about it, and I tried my hardest to keep them open - we offered them the money they would need for an extra year, but the owner's basically said "It's just time to let it go." I'm so sad about it.
