I checked it just this morning and everything seemed fine.
That it's a "voluntary recall" (as all are, incidentally) just pisses me off.
I feel like proteins are under attack. What's next, chicken?
I think the horrible, inhumane and disgustingly unsanitary ways meat is raised and processed is to blame. This problem is only going to get worse.
Come to the dark side of veganism my friends!!!!
How odd. I beat mine last night and it seemed fine.

My meat doesn't have any caramel coloring, so I think I'm all right.
Funny, I just watched FOOD, INC. last night. They talk about this very thing.
And how is "Kevin's Law" doing?
It's still hanging in there as of a few hours ago.

This sickens me just knowing it but....
The dollar tree (near me) sells meat. Yes, for 1$. And it's not a small quantity, either. I can't even go down that isle without gagging.
You can get a nice size New York strip steak for 1$. Now, what it taste like and what happens to your body after you eat it, I don't want to know...
*Whether it's really a New York Strip steak is another question. Although if it isn't, that would be false advertising. Then again, won't be the first false advertisement, won't be the last.

Yes, many Wal-Marts sell meat--not all of them.
I understand that Target will be selling meat soon. Heaven forfend!
