Ahh Thomas Calabro -- I wanted to eat him alive!

I was addicted to that silly show.
The men were so hot. I liked Billy.
And a few seasons later there was a character that dated Amanda who was really hot. He played an evil business man and he was on a Sex and The City Episode as MR TOO BIG.
HE MADE MY HEAD SPIN. SO STEAMY HOT.

Corine: The actor's name is Jeffrey Nordling. He played Amanda Woodward's boyfriend Eric Baines in a couple of episodes in 1997...and yes, he was gorgeous!

WithoutATrace, I think Corine is thinking of John Enos (“Bobby Something-or-other” on Melrose). He played Mr. Too Big on the second season finale of SATC (and he was Traci Lords boyfriend for several years...why do I know all this crap?).

ohhh i had a lot of fun times watchin that trashy show!
i would get giddy over what new trouble sydney had gotten herself into....like the time she got mixed up in the cult with guest star traci lords!!!

i liked how, in one episode jo got shot in the spine, in the next episode she was in a wheelchair, next episode she had a cane & the next episode she was running all around town again!

& of course everyone remembers krazy kimberly taking off the wig & revealing that massive scar!!!

I would assume everything that was Aaron Spelling will be released now that he is gone. Now if the pesky Joan Collins would sign on the line so they could release more Dynasty...

Oh God, I loved Melrose--though it sucked towards the end. Amanda's delicious bitchiness, Not Dead Kimberly taking off her wig, pregnant Jo, Matt's affair with psycho doctor, Sydney and Michael...greatness. And in what other big time ad agency can you go from an administrative assistant to a vice president (or whatever) within a few seasons?

I also loved another short-lived nighttime soap called Savannah (I think it was on the WB). It was even better than Melrose, I thought! And Jamie Luner showed up on Melrose as a character later on.

John Enos made my heart race. OMG. He was so built.
I would dream about him. And the guy who played Billy.
I did make time for that crap.

I think my favorite Melrose Place moment is when Taylor slammed the door on her face to make it look like Peter beat her.

The man who made me realize I was gay though, played John Enos' brother on Melrose...Antonio Sabato Jr! (aka hottest man alive)

WithoutATrace, have you seen the movie TESTOSTERONE? Antonio plays a hot gay guy who gets naked quite a few times in the film. YAY!

Ohhh Melrose on DVD! I know what peach is asking for for Chrismukkah this year!

Remember when Jack Wagner was on it? I had a crush on him when he was on General Hospital. And then - years later he was on Melrose. Divine!

This is my total guilty pleasure show- i TiVo it off of SoapNet and watch it when I get home from work. Right now we're past the "OMG she ripped off her wig!" part, which is seriously the best. soap moment. ever.

I don't remember a lot of it from when I used to watch it back in the day, though- I'd forgotten this whole 'Amanda has cancer' storyline. And I didn't remember how much Kimberly and Matt would snipe at each other- "Now don't flip your wig Kimmy, but..." -so funny.

Yes, I own TESTOSTERONE and the movie is horrible...but I'm glad to own it just for those few hot scenes with Antonio Sabato Jr. He is so freaking hot!!!

I can't believe I've had my MELROSE DVD preordered for over two months now...and it comes out a week from today!

I love it when Taylor beats her face with the door...hilarious! And remember when she "forces" Michael to have sex with her because she has to get pregnant to hold on to Kyle!

And yes, Kimberly ripping off her wig is one of the best Melrose moments!

Aaron Spelling was a pure camp genius. He played it up and always got the best performers to work it to perfection.

Does anyone else feel like they're watching a completely different show watching Melrose reruns today? I remember back in the day being all 'Billy + Alison forever' and Amanda was so evil and mean, etc. And now when I watch Melrose, I can't see what I ever saw in Billy, and Amanda is so right, and Alison is both stupid and also such a pain in the ass (at least right now with the whole winning Amanda's award/ letting Kimberly know where Michael and Amanda were storyline). It's like I'm watching a completely different show.

Remember the SNL skit with Sarah Silverman as Sydney and David Spade as Jane?
