From the Tiger Woods to the Catholic Church, why is everyone so freaking surprised that men like to screw?

You are married to one of the most famous, handsome, talented, richest men in America. Is anyone really surprised that Tiger wanted more than a hole in just one?

When is America going to stop obsessing about people not being monogamous?

Get over it! It is going to happen whether you find out about it or not.

Yeah, I don't remember him ever being a dedicated family man. I mean, he married a Playmate. I never paid that much attention to him at all though, so I'm sure there are examples.

The thing that pisses me off is how STUPID he was at hiding all of this. You don't leave voicemails with your name! Did he never receive the Bill Clinton/Rick Pitino/John Edwards/Kobe Bryant/Kwame Kilpatrick memo? Now I wonder if he's going to invest all of his money with Bernie Madoff's cousin who promised him 100% returns. A perfect example of what I like to call "Dick Brain."

Everyone caught in a sex scandle seems to be a "dedicated family man." "Man of high morals". Clinton, McGreevy, Larry "Wide Stance" Craig...the list goes on and on and we are ALWAYS surprised. Hell, I would not be shocked to hear the Dalai Lama is screwing Kendra Wilkenson. And good for him!
But Mrs. Lama should not be shocked.

I'm not so sure. If she did cause his injuries the night of the crash, which everyone assumes, she could be in trouble. Florida's domestic violence laws are among the strictest in the country. The Florida Highway Patrol may not care since the accident was so minor, but if the wounds were caused by her, his medical records could give him some leverage. Comedians and talk show hosts are giving her an 'attagirl' and having their fun, but the Florida courts might not find it so funny.

I don't think Tiger's wife is a former playmate. I also wouldn't put her in the "gold digger" category either. She had a job as a nanny for one of the golfers on the pro circuit.

That being said (and I know I will get slammed for this), what about some of these women taking responsibility for their behavior. Married man - say no!! It's not like you don't know who the guy is.

Have to agree with Sueleen - domestic violence male or female perpetrator is no laughing matter.

Woods became the highest earning athlete in history, not solely on his ability to play golf, but on his squeaky-clean image (an image that he created), which makes him so attractive to sponsors. What's unbelievable to me, is not that Tiger Woods cheated on his wife (nothing hard to believe about that), but that someone who is such a major control freak about his image, wasn't more careful about covering-up his indiscretions!
