Congrats, Lexi!

A few questions:

What is the...
- Favorite book you read because you had to for school; most recent book you read solely for your own enjoyment
- Day of your life you'd most want to relive as is because it was that wonderful; day you'd most want to go back and relive in order to do things differently
-Most exciting baseball game you've ever attended

You're at the newsstand. You see all of those wonderfully trashy celebrity gossip magazines. If you can only buy one, which one is it?

You mentioned that you want to try out some ethnic restaurants once you get to the city. What sort of cuisines are you most interested in? (And yes, there is a fairly obvious reason I'm asking this question re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - siamese dream)

Questions:
1- If you could be anywhere in the world at this moment, where would you go?

2- What food are you craving right now?

3- What is the most exciting thing you have done today?

4- If you could be in any show on broadway right now, which would you pick?

Favorite book you read because you had to for school; most recent book you read solely for your own enjoyment

Brave New World, although I read it for pleasure in eighth grade before having to read it for school. I read Searching for Bobby Fischer in Februrary-ish, and I'm sad to say that's the most recent book I've read for pleasure.

Day of your life you'd most want to relive as is because it was that wonderful; day you'd most want to go back and relive in order to do things differently

I'm one of those people who tends not to remember specific days at all, just general emotions over a period of time. I suppose I'd probably say my 18th birthday, although it was only a week ago. It was a great feeling not only to be a legal adult but also to be finished with high school on the same day. I'd go back to relive my entire eighth grade year in order to do things differently -- sorry that I don't have a specific date, but I just remember it as being a year of extreme social awkwardness for many reasons.

You're at the newsstand. You see all of those wonderfully trashy celebrity gossip magazines. If you can only buy one, which one is it?

I don't know the name of it, but it's that one that has the "Normal or Not Normal?" feature. I think that's the most hilarious thing ever, although others fail to see the humor of it.

You mentioned that you want to try out some ethnic restaurants once you get to the city. What sort of cuisines are you most interested in?

I don't even know! Um... Cuban Chinese, now that we've talked about it probably too much. Good sushi. Afghani food, although I'm limited by my choice not to eat red meat or poultry years ago.

If you could be anywhere in the world at this moment, where would you go?

DisneyWorld was the first answer that popped into my mind. I want to go back and relive all the rides another time before I really get too old to do so.

What food are you craving right now?

A falafel pita sandwich.

What is the most exciting thing you have done today?

Absolutely nothing. I've been waking up and going back to sleep. I didn't feel good last night and still don't. Ugh.

If you could be in any show on broadway right now, which would you pick?

Sweeney Todd. I've heard so many marvelous things about it, and MICHAEL is in it. Heh.

Thanks for the questions, girls. It's fun. :) Updated On: 5/29/06 at 03:46 PM

How did you first get into theater?

What brought you to BWW?

Would you ever dye your eyelashes?

Feel better!

I keep thinking up stupid questions, but here goes:

State your Rent, not the Dream Cast, but your Rent Scream cast (ie, people so wrong for those roles that it has to be right). The sillier the better.

Hmm, (not so) deep questions:

-Favorite baked food?
-Favorite song (or show) to perform (dance included) in the privacy of your own home? (Everyone has one...)
-What's the highlight/your favorite thing from an average day?

Favorite setting to see a nun?

Random, less silly question: Favorite outdoor activity?

How about your dream Chess cast?

Probably something suspiciously close to Ashley's cast that she posted yesterday. I'd probably go with Judy Kuhn as Florence, as I think she really stands out on a recording full of mediocre performers on the OBCR. I'm not exactly sure who I'd cast as Svetlana... the Danish recording's Svetlana is probably my favorite, although I think Sutton put a nice twist on the role as well.

How did you first get into theater?

My mother took me to Les Miserables on Broadway when I was about eight. I've been into musical theatre on and off since then.

What brought you to BWW?

In all honesty, the post-Rent movie craze. While I'd seen the stage production before, the movie renewed my love for the show (yes, it's okay to laugh). Of course I didn't expect the hostility toward the movie on the part of many here, but (cliche alert!) one of the great things about BWW is the varying perspectives.

Would you ever dye your eyelashes?

No. I honestly think that sounds dangerous.

What SHOULD you be doing right now, but are BWW instead?

Probably getting something to eat. I'm on BWW on one computer and trying to remove spyware on my other computer. That's what I get for attempting to illegally download programs and not scanning the files before opening them, I guess!

What song is stuck in your head right now?

Nothing. Songs don't often get stuck in my head.

If you were given $1000, what would you do with it?

Buy far too many clothes.

I'll answer more later. I'm actually going to get something to eat. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - siamese dream

Would you rather be a nun or a prostitute?

A prostitute. At least I'd have some fun.

In your house, what is the most 'sexual' thing you have?

I'd totally give you an interesting answer if I had one.

Have you ever used an eraser for anything except erase?

I used to chew on my Yikes erasers in first grade. I don't remember them as especially appetizing.

What is the weirdest thing you learned in health class?

I don't remember learning anything I didn't already know, let alone something weird. Health class was pretty much a joke.

Would you rather swim in the ocean with your best guy friend or your best girl friend?

Best guy friend. He's hilarious and we're similar in so many ways (he's 100x smarter than I am, though).

If your significant other jumped off a cruise ship- would you jump too?

No, even though I'm generally a romantic at heart.

If your doorbell rang and you opened up to see a zebra, what would be the first thing you do- (except close the door)

Pinch myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming... ? (Does anyone actually do that besides Annie?) No, I don't know. Probably scream and call someone.

If you had to pick, would you rather smell gasoline or flatulence?

Gasoline, hands down.

Do you enjoy popping bubble wrap?

I don't derive the same joy out of it that many people do. I guess it's somewhat enjoyable.

If you were able to kill either Saddam Huessein or Osama Bin Laden- who would you choose?

Bin Laden, as he's the bigger baddie.

State your Rent, not the Dream Cast, but your Rent Scream cast (ie, people so wrong for those roles that it has to be right). The sillier the better.

I'm not funny and even less so when I try to be... but probably a combination of Paris Hilton as Mimi, Vin Diesel as Roger, and Lindsay Lohan as Maureen.

How do you solve a problem like Maria?

Heh! I'm sorry to say that I can't answer it as you've got me all paranoid about whether HE KNOWS or not. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - siamese dream

Favorite baked food?

Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

Favorite song (or show) to perform (dance included) in the privacy of your own home? (Everyone has one...)

Oh, God, I have more than one! The Don't Cry for Me Argentina balcony scene. The two songs I actually enjoy from Wicked -- Defying Gravity and No Good Deed. Nobody's Side from Chess. Easy as Life from Aida. (Yes, I do realize that all of this can be used against me later.)

What's the highlight/your favorite thing from an average day?

I actually enjoy getting ready to go out -- doing my hair, applying makeup, etc.

What is your favorite flavor of Jolly Ranchers?

Watermelon!

Can you name a good quote from Anchorman?

Unfortunately, I've never seen it.

What is one thing you've done that you deeply regret? (Only if you want to share.)

Not at all. I'd definitely say that I regret not joining many clubs and sports throughout high school. I'm not much of a "joiner" in general, but I do wish I would have taken the opportunity to form bonds with teammates and the like.

What's your favorite thing about your home state? What will you miss the most?

The air. There is absolutely nothing better than the smell of spring in North Dakota. It's so clean and fresh.

What's your favorite of Adam Pascal's outfits/costumes?

Hah. The plaid pants? The sparkly pants? Anything that involves a wifebeater? I don't really know.

Favorite setting to see a nun?

Hypothetically speaking, in a place where they really shouldn't be.

Favorite outdoor activity?

Bike riding, although I should do more of it.

Thanks for the congrats and questions! Updated On: 5/29/06 at 08:43 PM

Chloe -- There are a lot of little things that I'd like to know (e.g. the meaning behind some of his songs), but I'd probably ask him, provided that I'd receive a completely honest answer, his top three regrets.

Favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

This, so far, is my one and only question.

Rogue -- When it's rainy, I like to curl up on my bed, open the shades, put on some music, and take it all in. I absolutely love the rain; I think it's incredibly peaceful.

Name one...
- Item from your past that you're pleasantly surprised you still have
- Item from your past you wish you hadn't gotten rid of

If you could change one aspect of your personality, what would it be?

If you had to choose between a weekend without Internet access or a week without chocolate, which would you pick?

A couple questions:

What are a few things that always make you smile/put you in a good mood/brighten your day?

What is one you thing you've always wanted to try, but haven't? (It can food, skydiving... anything really.)

Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to

Item from your past that you're pleasantly surprised you still have

Oh, God, I'm one of those people who throws away everything! I suppose finding most of my Playbills in the basement a couple nights ago was kind of cool. It's a bit saddening that I saw both Michael Cerveris and Heather Headley but don't remember them at all, though.

Item from your past you wish you hadn't gotten rid of

I can't think of anything, at least not off the top of my head. I'm sure there are things that I should have kept, but my philosophy is that if I can't remember it right now, it probably wasn't all too important. re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - siamese dream

If you could change one aspect of your personality, what would it be?

Easy -- my arrogance about certain things. I feel as if I have a knack for understanding people, but very little sympathy at times when I should.

If you had to choose between a weekend without Internet access or a week without chocolate, which would you pick?

Week without chocolate. I'm hopelessly addicted to the internet.

#374re: Message Board Celebrity Of The Day (Part III) - siamese dream

Is it bad that I am still laughing hysterically?

Yes, because I'm really not that funny.

What are a few things that always make you smile/put you in a good mood/brighten your day?

This sounds completely bizarre... but taking a shower. I'm always in a better mood coming out of it than going into it. Having a friend say a nice thing about me. Surprise phone calls (most of the time).

What is one you thing you've always wanted to try, but haven't?

Bungee jumping! :)
