You just started my day with a great big giggle. Thanks cutie!
Good morning all! I'll be back just a second to name my successor, so don't start any nominations just yet.
One final huzzah for Calvin! Hope you enjoyed the day in the spotlight!
I want some of your rice and stir fry! Yum!
You wore the tiara with honor and great humor. I had to go back and re-read all of your answers last night. The laughter was much needed!
Congrats, Calvin, nice responses. So who's the lucky tiara-receiver?
We've been warned...
Alrighty. Thanks to everyone for the kind words and questions, especially to Princeton, who knows that I love attention. Sweethearts, every last one of ya.
Looking at the list of people who have already been our celebrity, I noticed about five glaring omissions. Two of those are people whom I know and adore personally. And by flipping a coin, I got it down to one. So for our celebrity today, I pick the wonderful guy who has weathered The Wedding Singer, Defiance and half of Hot Feet with me. Our celebrity is...
Wanna Be A Foster!
Celie is so excited! She even brought flowers for Foster!
Excellent! Another day of humor and handsomeness! Three cheers to Calvin and to Foster!
And the Jersey Boys can hardly keep their shirts on!
Neither can I.
Oh. wait... nevermind.
CONGRATS to Foster!
I think another pink drink is in order!
Cheers!
And, my question for Foster: What brought you to BWW?
Have a fun day!
Congrats WBaF!
What is your ideal meal? What is your favourite comfort food dish?

Congrats to you Foster! Have a wonderful day!
Where's the CotD???
He knows it's his day...he just can't get to his computer right now, but is looking forward to answering your questions. =)
Ahh! I just got to my computer. Aww thanks guys! And especially thanks to my dear Calvin. I am so honored!
What brought you to BWW?
One of my dear theater friends was a lurker and said I had to check it out. She would always tell me about the dramatic revelations and gossip she read about on here. So I checked it out, lurked for a few weeks, then joined! My friend who introduced me to the site is still a lurker to this day. She's shy and a bit intimidated to join (imagine that! hehe).
What is your ideal meal? What is your favourite comfort food dish?
My ideal meal is a fresh pizza made from scratch with fresh garlic. My favorite place in the city to go to is John's Pizzeria, conveniently located in the heart of the theater district.
My favourite comfort food dish is a bowl of fresh matzo ball soup from 2nd Avenue Deli, which sadly is history as of a couple months ago. I'm open to new suggestions of worthy Kosher delis in the city!
What are your current travel plans (should you choose to share)? And your current dream travel plans, if money was no object?
CONGRATS WANNA BE!!!
hope you enjoy your day !!!
::bust a move for a great guy::

Ya know, it's funny. All throughout high school and college, I would spend all of my travel money on coming to NYC. I just loved being here. And ever since I moved here (almost 3 years ago), I haven't traveled anywhere because I feel like I'm living on vacation. Once I do get my travel self back in gear, I want to go back to London. I was there once with my family when I was 13 and we saw Patti LuPone in Sunset Boulevard, and I fell in love! One of the most thrilling performances I've ever seen, and my favorite show to this day. So I'd like to more thoroughly explore London's theater scene and check out the gay scene (without those teeth though).
Hmm...maybe Foster's travel plans will include Boston... =)
1. You're a big animal lover. Tell us about pets you've had.
2. You're a champion of the NY theatre. What single moment in the theatre has touched you more than any other?
3. I'm a teacher, so it would interest me to know about your school days. Do you have a grade that was your favorite? Your least favorite? Why?

I have my doggy who I grew up with. Her name is Fortune and she's a black cocker spaniel. She's my absolute angel, my best friend. I adore her to the ends of the earth. She lives back at home in CT with my family, but she visits me in the city often and I visit her back home.
I have a weakness for spaniels, but I love all dogs. There's a wonderful rescue organization here in the city called Abandoned Angels. They focus primarily on cocker spaniels, and the women who run the group are amazing. You can check them out at www.nyabandonedangels.com/

A couple years ago, veteran Broadway actor Martin Moran (who is now in Spamalot, but you might also recognize him as Harold Bride from Titanic -- he had a gorgeous duet with Brian D'Arcy James) -- Mr. Moran performed a one-man autobiographical play Off-Broadway called THE TRICKY PART. It was about his growing up as the perfect Catholic boy. He was an altar boy and a boy scout. He talked about how innocent we all are as youngsters and, from his personal experience, told us about how easily an adult role model can take advantage of and damage that innocence. I had never felt so connected to another person and felt so understood as when I saw his play. His story is very similar to mine and his candidness was like nothing I had ever experienced. I literally felt like he was sitting having a conversation directly with me. For any of you who had the opportunity to see THE TRICKY PART, you know what a beautiful play it was, and what a beautiful man Martin Moran is. I respect his struggles and admire his overcoming them.
I'm a teacher, so it would interest me to know about your school days. Do you have a grade that was your favorite? Your least favorite? Why?
Honestly, school was a nightmare for me from K-12. I was called faggot before I even knew what it meant, among other names and was beaten up regularly. I can't even recall much regarding academics, as everything was focused on my being bullied and seeking social acceptance. Then I went to college, and moved to NYC, and realized that I can be myself and have nothing to be ashamed of. This city has taught me to embrace myself and others for our differences, as opposed to shunning others for being different, something that mainstream society is far from catching onto.

Belated congratultions, WBAF. Hope you're enjoying your time in the spotlight. Some great answers, btw. My question - what piece of advice would the current WBAF give his thirteen year-old self?
Congrats WBAF!
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
