Dear Katy: What's a Kate for?
The last book I read was The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien. I'd only recommend it if you have a love for Tolkien and a long attention span.
Before that was "A Million Little Pieces." If you file it under fiction, I'd recommend it, too.

A Kate makes an excellent theater companion and an even better Chicago tour guide. Just a thought.
How's that paint job going for you there, dearie?

Harris, thank the cows for me, please.
Kate, paint job? What paint job? I do enjoy watching it dry...
Sorry, guys, I need to go wash my hair now (read: go to the gym and attempt to get fit while tons of gay boys prance around and look hot without really working out).
Back in a flash, in other words.

I haven't had a chance to read many of you answers, so this may have already been asked, but I won't be home until later and I want to get it in.
What is your favorite word and why?

Posted: 2/21/06 at 7:36pmI'll do the singing so long as your dance involves you being dressed in appropriate bwaysinger loved costumes

Thanks, Griz, CJR and did I miss anyone else?
I appreciate your tribute Wicked-style to me, Cookie and Sword. It made my day.
Which of you is Elphie? I imagine you're going to have to be Galinda, Sword, simple out of range considerations.
Patronus, I don't know that I have a favorite word. I know overuse like way too much.

Alright...questions for Bway...
What TV show would you bring back to the airwaves?
What Broadway show would you bring back to the boards?
Favorite treat at Serendipity?
If you were a Broadway theatre, which one would you be?
Shoe size?
Is Elphapug jealous of your queenship today?
Who will win the best actress oscar this year?
#270message board celebrity of the day (part ii) - bwaysinger
Posted: 2/21/06 at 9:39pmMight as well ask my standard question-do you have any favorite genre of art? Any hanging on your walls?

Jane, I confess to being somewhat of an art dimwit. I know most of the major artistic movements and styles but that's pretty much it. That said, I do enjoy the Met and hope to make it to the Frick soon.
Princeton:
What TV show would you bring back to the airwaves? Anyone who knows me knows the answer to this one. Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
What Broadway show would you bring back to the boards? This is a hard one. Actually, not that hard. I'd love for Michael John LaChiusa's adaptation of "The Wild Party" have a chance to gain an audience. I thought it was sheer brilliance and Toni Collette should be a Broadway star.
Favorite treat at Serendipity? OH, man. I've been a total of three times but I am completely stuck on the sundae there.
If you were a Broadway theatre, which one would you be?
I would be the Schoenfeld because that's where Brooklyn, the best musical ever, played.
Shoe size? 10.
Is Elphapug jealous of your queenship today? He's jealous of everything but he will forgive me since I wasn't given any food.
Who will win the best actress oscar this year?
If there's any justice, Felicity Huffman will. But it's going to be Reese.

I should go back and read what I'm jumping into, but I would rather just post and let everyone know that I loves me some Bwaysinger.
And I will never forget a night when he was posting under the influence.
A long, long time ago.
But, oh, so many happy memories.
Cheers to ya!
