Which is your favorite Broadway songwriter/songwriter team?

1) What inspires you?
BB, like you, we are by default inspired by our children. As they get older and become in a sense more “adult” everyday, I wonder if I can provide them with the education that I have had. The cost of education scares that hell out of me and I am reminded daily that I must make this firm financially successful. (as I type on a message board) (I am glad I was in the office on Saturday.)
2) If you could spend the day with one person (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you talk about?
I would like to hear Harold Pinter’s thoughts on The Birthday Party, The Homecoming, etc. I love those plays!
3)If you were putting together a scrapbook of your life..what would be included in it?
The ! key, some chicken feathers, the score of Pippin, Bombay.
DayDreamer:
If you were a tree, what tree would you be and why?
Bonsai – they are so cute!
If you could have anyone over for dinner, who would it be and what would you serve them?
Bill Clinton
Cocktails with shrimp
Steak, Bread, Salad
If we went out with you and your best friend, what story would he/she tell us about you that you wouldn't have told us yourself?
That I raised chickens as a kid?
What goal would you like to achieve this year?
I hope to have a 20% increase in my income. (we are having a banner year here)
Your weakness?
Money Management!
Your biggest fear?
Money Management
First thought waking up?
Is the coffee ready?
Do you shower daily?
Yes, and usually twice on the weekends.
Have you been in love?
Yes!
Do you get along with your parents?
Yes, I am very lucky to have two great loving parents!
Coffee or Tea?
Both, I have loads of coffee in the morning and a cup of tea after lunch.
Cats or Dogs?
I am very allergic to cats, thus I despise them!

If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?

I am more inclined to Ginsburg’s judicial and constitutional philosophy favoring individual rights. But, her voice is often silenced by the majority.
O’Connor will likely be viewed as one of the Court’s great historical figures, not due to her status of the first female Justice, but on her great ability to build coalitions. As this Court turns far to the right, O’Connor will be viewed not for her moderation, but more for protecting the Court and country from the extremism if the Right.
Peach:
Coffee of the day with ½ and ½.
FSI:
What is your favorite role you'd one day like to play (soon as you get casted on Broadway)?
When I was younger I often played the younger tenor lead. I am now heavier and too old! Maybe one of the princes from Into the Woods?
Which is your favorite Broadway songwriter/songwriter team?
I am a huge Stephen Schwartz fan – Godspell, Pippin and Wicked are three of my favorites.
Shameless: (I was just listing a few, and you are included!
What do you do first when you wake up in the morning? ("getting up" doesn't count)
Pee
If you were recuperating in a hospital, who would you want in the bed next to you, excluding relatives?
I have a friend who is a teacher and a director. I have always told her that she must be at my deathbed. She is kind, funny and brings a smile to my face!
What has given you the most pleasure in the last year?
My wife! Seriously, I love taking my son to see musicals. We have seen about a dozen over the last few years. (We have seen Wicked four times together.) He is an excellent spectator and lover of the theatre at age eight!
What's something that we would be surprised to learn about you?
That I yell at my kids more than I should!
If your house were on fire, what would you grab on the way out?
The dog!
If we asked an important person in your life to describe you, what would he or she say? How accurate would it be?
I would hope that my colleagues would describe me as fair and also as a problem solver. I am a litigator, but usually it is in my client’s best interests to resolve the matter and close the file!
What’s something that you’ve never done, but have always wanted to try?
Sky diving, but I would probably chicken out!
What’s the last great gift that you gave someone? And, that you were given?
It is very mundane, but C11 really loves her new Ipod! My wife gave me the complete Fawlty Towers set! We have watched the episodes dozens of time. Complete comic genius!

What is your ideal meal?
There is a steak joint in my neighborhood that I frequent and I have the Filet!
What is your favourite comfort food dish?
As for comfort food, a large stuffed roast chicken with rosemary potatoes and dilled carrots with my family and a few friends on an early Sunday evening in January or February.
What are your top five theatre experiences?
Tough question – Taking my family to Wicked on Broadway was a very special day for the family.
Bryn Terfel as Sweeney Todd at the Lyric Opera in Chicago – Excellent
I Am My Own Wife – Mays was unbelievable.
I saw Brian Denney in A Rat in the Skull at the Wisdom Bridge Theater in Chicago in the late 80’s – it was truly memorable.
A few years ago my wife was in a production. I have seen her act for 20 years, but this was a level that I had never seen - she was outstanding and kept it up for every performance during a fairly substantial run.
If you could not practice your current chosen profession, what else would you opt for? I regret getting a theater degree, I should have studied voice.
Otherwise, I have no clue, which is why I remain a “bored” lawyer. (PJ, that is the answer to your question.
