Alright. So my thinking is over with and the new celebrity is decided. There were many delightful people on here it could have been (I even toyed with the idea of naming BrendanStryker to see if I could raise the (un)dead but I figured that would result in thread deletion).
So I decided to pick someone who is a truly wonderful member of BWW. Someone who is intelligent, well informed and extremely wry and witty on the boards. And someone who is one of the kindest and most generous people off the boards. I have had the pleasure of their company many times when in NYC and it's never less than wonderful.

It is unfortunately a little too rare on this board to find someone who actually has something to say (that’s actually worth reading), but Iflit absolutely personifies that for me. Full of awareness, she proves that it’s possible to think and feel at the same time, without ever sacrificing rationality. Ultimately, she obviously knows what counts and what doesn’t, and I have learned from her.
Real mother, Earth mother and crusader for peace – we and the world in general are so much better for her presense.
