Some posters just make you smile, and Glebb is at the top of the list for me. A truly gentle soul, who embodies joy in his art and his life.
I celebrate you, Sir

We sing the body Glebblectric!
It was either the alligator or the hippo! I figured the gator was bit classier.
Glebby...what inspires you?
Congratulations to BWW's own ethereal Puck! Enjoy your day, moi droog!!
Congrats Glebby! Though we've never talked, I always appreciate your insightful posts and the passion for dance that you and I share. I can't wait to learn more about you; thank you for your contribution to the BWW community.
Have a great day!

Though we've never really spoken, I so enjoy your posts! All the best, sir! Congratulations!
*tears* - This is too much.
I'm about to lose it (and I should be typing up Romeo notes from Saturday's on stage rehearsal now.) Am I? Hell no!
LOL PalJoey! I did go to Studio 54 a bit in those days (though no time there was better than when I saw Pacific Overtures with my best friends not long ago.) We did have closing night parties at "Studio" and I danced with Nureyev there. I did not meet Liza but I did touch Genie Francis. It was her party for Bare Essence. It didn't hurt that I lived on 53rd and 8th for so many years.
You're all so wonderful!
Glebb touched Laura! My, you HAVE had a life.
Glebb: "I danced with Nureyev at Studio 54."
Okay. Can we all just pause and take that in?
I only have a few minutes to pop in but BIG HUGS TO GLEBB!
"Here he is boys! Here he is world! Here's Glebb!!!"
um, the girls are happy he's here, too!
Love and thanks to:
AH - my chum (I know more!), Sueleen, Addy, Undi, Cookie, PalJoey, Rath, Mamie, DG, brd, Namo (maybe the second chater is better - LOL), Plum, Mom, Boobs (Yay Mae!), Pip (moi droog), Elphaba, Hypertruffle, Margo, Princeton, Bwaybaby, Rabbit, grizzabella.... Xs and Os to you! Emcee too!

Hey Glebb, I have an incredibly true and totally fabulous Genie Francis story of my own that I shall share with you in PMs!
May the Galaxy Glue jingle be stuck in YOUR head all day.
Photo for Glebb. Congratulations!
Yesterday I posted this photo on the snow thread and said, "This is for Glebb" because it looked to me like dancers, which, naturally, makes me think of Glebb. (Rather prescient of me, no?)
In case you didn't see it, Queen Glebb, here it is again. I took it first thing Sunday morning before any "people" got out in the snow and ruined its pristine splendor.
(Doesn't Queen Glebb have a startling ring to it?)

Congrats Glebb -- anyone who thinks to appreciate Carol and/or Julie on a random Sunday is aces with me.
I always think of you when I see the Joffrey billboards here in Chicago.
Enjoy your day!
ps -- Nurevey at 54??? Wow -- do tell.

when I go home tonight, I shall toast you with hot cocoa in my "Baryshnicows" mug (it's a Boyntoncartoon with cows in various ballet positions. It's my favorite mug!)

Glebb...will you tell your version of my husband's favorite Glebb story? He (my husband) was a grad student at the U of Iowa many years ago and has been telling this story for as long as I've known him. When introduced to Glebb, it turned out they both had memories of the same event.
The Joffrey was coming to Iowa to perform, but got caught up in a huge snowstorm. The company arrived, but the equipment and props didn't...
Take it, Glebb...
