Welcome to your party!
We get to ask you questions and you get to be put on the spot.....I mean in the spotlight.
Question: Was there a moment or event in your life that led you to a vegetarian/crulty-free lifestyle. (for which you are admired)
Yes. The 'deadline' for naming the next Celebrity of the Day is 10am the following day.
Unless you were selected on a Friday, in which case you have until 10am Monday.
but bear in mind, munk, as mbcotd you can pretty much re-write any rules.
And, it probably goes without saying, but you can pass on any and all questions that you don't want to answer.
Just enjoy the spotlight, and we will all enjoy getting to know you a little better.
Undiscovered: I would have to say FOLLIES. I purchased the OBC when I was 10 years old because my sister had danced to "Broadway Baby" in a dance recital, and I liked it. That began my fascination with the show, and I just really admire the way the show is (musically) written and the demeanour with which the story is told. I think it's the most fascinating musical ever written, next to maybe SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.
BlueMoon: I had always known people that were vegetarian, but I had never really formed an opinion on it, other than "wow, that must be really hard." Then about 5-6 years ago I got my first dog (a chocolate lab), and I fell in love with her. Freshman year of college (3 years ago), I started to really question the notion of eating animals - forcing something else to die - a soul's life to end - for your personal interest. I went online, watched videos, did research, and then just finally decided that I would not contribute to brutality. It's something my heart really breaks for, and now I haven't eaten meat in just over 3 years. Believe me - if you knew what went into what was on your plate (or on your back), you wouldn't do it either. But as I say in situations like these, ignorance is bliss. My grandmother would rather believe and swear that her fur coat came from roadkill. And she's absolutely serious when she says that, so that just re-affirms my belief.

Glad you showed up, we almost had to send out the special forces.
I randomly surfed on in the Spring of '03 and voted for the awards, then it was Emcee (whom I know know HS) that urged me to join, I believe. To be honest, I don't completely remember when I became addicted.
