Plum is one of the posters I have absolute respect for on BWW.

She is able to discuss a wide variety of topics, and is always informed and thoughful in her comments. She tackles the tough issues with sensitivity, and stays away from bashing and negativity. She has gone to bat for her friends when she thinks they are being unfairly attacked, and she does so with a determination that is admirable.

She has a wonderful sense of fun, and... she loves Hugh as much as I do. Probably even more.

I am so looking forward to learning even more about her today. I hope she loves every moment of her celebration!

That is an amazing fact - I had no idea. And I bet PLUM will love it, if she doesn't already know it (like she seems to know a little something about everything else!)

Yay for Plum! Let everyone know that THIS is your day. They'll think you're weird, but hey, that's the price of fame.

When I joined the board I was really taken by Plum's posts. She was (is) incredibly well informed, fair, objective and articulate. I stupidly assumed she was some bright middle aged woman (age-ism on my part). I was amazed and delighted to learn that she was a YOUNG, bright woman (I believe a college Freshman at that time). You are wise beyond your years, Plum. Hell, you are wise beyond MY years.

Congrats! Enjoy your reign.

PLUM!! Always has been one of my favorites around here - frighteningly wise beyond her ywars - truly an old soul, with a good sense of humor and lucky for us all, a love of theater.
