Miami Social (Bravo's adult version of NYC Prep)

As for the show itself... it's fine? I mean, it wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be, but it wasn't that entertaining, either. It's funny, it strikes me as more contrived and more realistic than the other Bravo shows at the same time. The situations they make the people get into (like the end-of-show powwow) seem incredibly forced, but the way each person acts in the show seems completely believable.
I'm just a little bitter that the two gay guys are repulsive and the straight guys are sexy as all get out.

My two observations were that Trixia has methface and the one who dates the Russian whore has a weird blinking facial tic.
And that Ariel (really, that's a dude's name??) is quite a tool.

Also, whenever that Michael guy is all "I want someone who's hot...like me!" I can't help but snicker and think, "But buddy, you're not hot!"
Out of all of them, though, Ariel and Michael seem to have the most personality (if you want to call it that).

Most of them were jerks. Sorah seemed nice, but it's almost always a bad idea to be a sounding board for your ex's relationship problems. I've hated Katrina way back from when Troy McClain outsmarted her back on an Apprentice real estate challenge, making her flip out.
Trixia is 31?! She looked 45. Must be all of the smoking, tanning and partying.

I need to pay attention to their listed ages because they all did look 40's, but I'm guessing younger.
The moral...tanning is bad for you!!!!!!

Well, sh*t. I must look about 80 then.....I agree, though. I thought Trixia was in her 40's. I thought they all were.
And that Trixia is a heinous beeyotch, imo. I don't know why that hot guy would be with her?? Her lovely personality? Her super attractive face?

George's crazy Russian girlfriend reminds me of Jackie Warner's crazy blonde girlfriend from Workout.

There are SEVERAL Ariels in South Florida. I know plenty, not sure if they are from Cuba, but a very common male name in South America.

It was sad to see the husband-and-wife divorcing after 13 years of marriage. Of course we don't know the real reason why, but if they are still going to work together after the divorce, then why breakup? It seems like they were bored with each other and decided to just end the marriage.
Lina (the so-called Russian hottie) looks like a lunatic.
The show isn't bad, but I think I like NYC Prep better.

I live in Miami, and I think it's hilarious how only a few blocks are filmed to make it look glamorous.
The show looked pretty derivative, with a bit of potential to be a pleasant viewing experience. We'll see.
btw: Ariel is a pretty common name. As are other female names like Miranda and Maria (as a middle name). It's considered an honour to be given your mother's name w/ Hispanics, so I guess that's where that comes from.

I'll have to wait to see Kim get her weave ripped off on Atlanta's Real Housewives to get my trashy drama fix.
Every time they play that clip I get more and more excited for the new season. Because if that's any indicator of how crazy it'll be, then I'm definitely going to watch!
