According to a couple different stories, he is in need of a lung transplant, or he will die.

"Quoted in Britain's Daily Express, the writer says Jackson may now be fighting for his life - ill with a rare lung condition, in need of a transplant, but too weak to undergo surgery.

There's no public comment from Jackson's official spokeswoman. The singer's brother has simply said it's not a good time, and that Jackson's not doing so well. "

In the UK, there is. You can usually work it out by the number of topless women. Something like the Sun or the Daily Star, which have plenty, is less likely to have a reliable source. Something like the Daily Fail, which is far too willing to get all "BAN THIS SICK FILTH!" on any story, will often have a real news story hidden somewhere under all the right-wing propaganda. XD

I actually heard this on the radio last week sometime. It was during the Z100 morning show "Sleaze Report." So, obviously that is not a good source either, but again, they were just spreading the rumor.

I didn't even realize Jacko was still alive and kickin' (sort of). Last I heard he was moving to Madagascar or some such country, and I just assumed he was bitten by some radio active lemur who sounded like Sacha Baron Cohen.
