I must say the guy who played the Love Guru's assistant was SO HOT! I think he is a well known Indian Actor but damn, my friend and I were really turned on when he was on screen.
Yes, Manu Narayan is indeed hot, but well known? I don't think so. At least, not yet. He was in Bombay Dreams, a film short and a couple of independents, but that was it. Oh yeah, a couple of Law an Orders, a Lipstick Jungle and a Sopranos episode. But he's doing well for himself, obviously. He'll be featured in the upcoming Spike Lee TV movie M.O.N.Y.

The "What is it you can't face?" bit is stolen.
Mother Abbess says it to Maria in the Sound of Music film. When thet started doing Sing Along Sound of Music, people started yelling, "What did you just call her?"
They also did the same bit in the Will and Grace episode where they go to Sing Along Sound of Music. Karen, dressed as a nun, says it to Will, and he says, "What did you call me?"

I know. I should have said there was not one original joke in the film. However,it was just so bad we were laughing our asses off.
The only other thing I could compare it to was imagine the scene in the film "Earthquake" where Ava Gardner over acts to Charlton Heston and belts out this loud outrageous "GOD DAMMIT!"
Well, imagine the impact of that scene throughout the entire film of "The Love Guru".

I love that scene so much. I recently watched the movie for the first time in twentysomething years and couldn't remember much about the film. That scene had me speechless. I rewound the entire scene and couldn't stop laughing. Priceless. Why that clip isn't shown in every gay bar in America is beyond me. It's right up there with Mommie Dearest.
