I kinda liked it.
Well, I really like the video, but the song's kinda naff and I'm not exactly a Miley fan so... well, we'll give it a tentative thumbs-up 'cos the video's cool. XD

Yeah, I don't love the song... or the fact that it's Miley doing this, but the video aint half bad!
The song sort of reminds me of If You Seek Amy.
I agree that the video is better than the song.
Miley's really starting to grow on me lately. She clearly has a mind of her own, despite the fact that she's been packaged within an inch of her life for the last several years.
Miley - who is dating her Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth - admitted to E! News the video was sexy, but insisted that wasn't her main aim, saying: "It's a gorgeous video and it is a sexy video, and you can't really take that away from it, but it's not the premise."
She added: "The video isn't about being sexy or about who can wear less clothes, it's about explaining the song and living the lyrics."
Miley also hinted the track was about breaking free of her innocent young image.
She said: "It's about the core of, I don't want to be in cage, I want to be free and do what I love. I want to make the movies or make the music I want."
The singer and actress went on: "I'm excited for my fans and my friends to see the next step. I think I've waited a good amount of time. This isn't anything that will take me away from what people know me as, it's just the next step.
"It's not a new Miley, it's just a new part of me. There's nothing in the video for me that I wouldn't be proud for my family to see. I think they can all watch it. It's the first step of growing up."

Video: Miley discusses the video
I think she was channeling Gaga.
Jane, I agree. Every single element of the video seemed to me like a ripoff from something Lady Gaga did. I didn't think the song or the video was very original at all, and I have to wonder who its target audience is. But I really liked the wings.
