NO SPOILERS

The lady can act her fanny off. I just watched Episode 11, "Our Man in Damascus", written by David Fury and directed by Seith Mann. It's easily my personal favorite of the entire series. I still haven't come down from the adrenaline rush I picked up while watching the acting tour de force of Miranda Otto as Allison Carr in the episode. She's been huge asset to the series. I hope her character sticks around for another season. She's the perfect foil to Carrie, Saul, and Dar.

Even if HOMELAND is not your cup of tea I encourage you to check out the master class that Miranda Otto gives as the character Allison Carr in Season 5.

She almost steals the show from Danes

No idea if she returns next year. The plot mirrors what is happening in the world now. It is very timely. It should be interesting what happens next season. Everyone thought the show would go downhill once Brody was gone. They ratcheted up plotlines so now it is really a must see.

If I remember correctly, Homeland is the one series which we've both liked that didn't get canceled early in it's run like NBC's Dracula. I don't have the best track record picking TV or cable series for some reason.

A few surprises but to us a sort of ambiguous ending. What happens next season? Maybe Carrie becomes normal again. How about her ,Mandy & Patty tour the country with an act of show tunes?.

Carrie will undoubtedly have to accept Saul's job offer next season or I fear there will be little reason to watch. I want to see Carrie the spy, not Carrie the married mommy.

I am heartbroken that they decided to kill her off. And what a waste to do it the way it was done. It could have been so much more of a dramatic showdown. Almost makes me think that there may be a possibility that she survives hundreds of gunshot wounds.

" No doubt Carrie will be saving the world from terrorism again next year, I am hoping that Astrid has a bigger role too. I find her fascinating and would love to see her back story. East German maybe?

Home come everyone on Homeland calls Peter Quinn "Quinn" and Carrie Mathison "Carrie?" In Peter's note to Carrie he even signed it Quinn. I like "Quinn," not complaining, just wonderin.'

Just watched the season finale. For some reason it neither packed the emotional punch nor delivered the adrenaline rush I was was hoping for. It wasn't a bad way to wrap things up but I wasn't moved by either Quinn's setback or Allison's fate.

Also, it was obvious that Otto had been jonesing for Carrie since their first on-screen encounter. The prospect of Carrie, Franny, and him under one roof intrigues me. Yonas struck me as a bit too young and rigid for her. I can only hope that Otto doesn't knock her up next season only to die a untimely death out of convenience or laziness on the part of the writers.

I gave up on Blood and Oil after the first episode. I wanted to like it but....

Bad Timing for Blood.

Story line made no sense once the price of oil started to tank. The whole world demonizing oil did not help either. It wanted to.be the new Dallas but never came close. Watched the whole series as nothing else was on at that time. At least once they found out they were being cancelled, the last episode was rewritten to tie up all storylines. Wonder what would have happen were they not cancelled. They hyped this to death but the hype did not help. People were simply not buying it.
