Ignorant racists (I know that's redundant). India is actually considered an Asian country and not the Middle East. Can you imagine what will happen when a winner of Middle Eastern descent is ever crowned?
Sad that most Americans are geographically challenged. When I lived in Singapore many people asked how I like living in "China." They would also asked how I was dealing with the language barrier which I found rather amusing being English is their first language.

I think Miss America should ban talent from overdone musicals! Why do these women insist on doing numbers from Les Miserable or Wicked? Back in the day, they used to love "He Touched Me". I'm live in Florida but I actually did not like Miss Florida. I thought she was fake and over rehearsed. In the pre-show, they showed her shopping for her dress and she wanted to make sure she could squat down in it for when they crowned her. She did not answer the question and took the time to try to convince people about her "humble" family. Sorry but my daughter and I chose New York a few weeks ago based on her video. She didn't sound fake and I love that they chose a diverse candidate. I also liked Kansas and thought she had some natural talent that if she had more time to work on it and a different song- she could have been better.
