I didn't realize it was the same episode, EVIE.
I love when Cameron gets caught going into the baby's nursery on the nannycam!
And when he's sitting with her on his lap watching Scarface!
No Modern Family last night? My life is over!
I missed how the little boy ended up with no clothes?? LOL!

I didn't see the new one at 9, but I saw the re-run at 8. I hadn't seen it yet. Hi-larious!

Man, you have some catching up to do and damned ABC is sort of scattered when it comes to which episodes they have online.
I'm pretty slow to get it when it comes to good TV. But I don't mind playing catch up via DVD.
I just started "Lost" last summer; "30 Rock" (I know, I know) this year.

I'll be getting Modern Family on DVD the day it's released. It's so good.
I'm sort of shocked at how good it is.
I love every single character, pretty much equally. I can't recall the last time that happened.
And I sort of have a crush on Gloria.
I know what you mean, because I have a crush on Gloria.
And one on Mitchell, of course.

The only bit of this we've seen is the clip of the gay couple presenting their newly adopted little girl a la Simba - complete with lighting and soundtrack. We laughed on-and-off all afternoon over that, and decided we'd do the DVD thing so we could watch them all back-to-back - and sans commercials (sorry Addy!)
Commercials are of the devil. Unless you're acting in them and making money.
I love everything about this show. Great cast, great writing, consistently outstanding episodes. It would be so easy for this to fall flat, between the semi-documentary style, the kids, and the potentially stereotypical characters. I find myself unable to name a favorite episode or character, because they're all so good.

The pilot was fairly ingeniously written and everything clicked together and it had me from that moment on. The episode where Cameron and Mitchell have to take Lily to the hospital is a big favorite, as it the follow up episode where we see the doctor again.

Agreed, and I also loved the bicycle thief, and fizbo, and...

There are certainly sterotypes portrayed as it is a situation comedy, but the relationships seem genuine and interesting. And it is just f*ing funny!
StockardFan: Gloria is Jay's wife, played by Sofia Vergara. She's the Latin one on the show.
I LOVED Wednesdays episode! Watched it on Hulu, and I could not stop laughing. I enjoyed the scenes with Cam & Gloria, especially when they were in the ghetto part of the city. And when they stole Cam's tires!!!! hahaha
Being Hispanic, I'm not to keen to jokes making fun of Latinos, but Midern Family is just so witty and fresh!
Thanks....I thought that's who that was. I haven't seen it enough to know their names.
