Monica Lewinski will be a punch line for the rest of her life.

I almost feel sorry for her. Not really.

I'm sorry. I'm a horrible person, but I find it funny. But demeaning, and sad, and GO KERRY!

Yea! Go Kerry! and take Edwards, Clinton (both), Kennedy, Bader-Ginsberg, and every other idiot in Washington with you!

Sorry. Had to be done. You sent me up for it.

That is really in bad taste. But what would you expect from Republicans.

"If I was Monica, I would sue!"

I was waiting for a member of the pro-litigation left to speak up.

That picture is a fake.

Someone took a picture of a billboard and copy/pasted the funny stuff in.

Also, if it were real, the defendant could always claim it was satire and that no reasonable person would believe she really said that and use Flint Publishing v. Fallwell as precedent.

Thank you for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you.

Even a commie pinko tree hugger liberal like me thinks that is pretty hysterical!

I don't think it is funny. How would you feel if it was you?
Poor taste.

What's intriguing to me is that it's presented as an actual quote by her. Is it possible she actually said this, in some skit or something?

Yes Rodney she will be a punline for the rest of her life. Of her own making.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Thanks Beaverhausen.

DGrant, that would surprise me because I've heard her say she's tired of being a punchline and I don't think she would say something that would propogate it. Similar to when Keanu Reeves was presenting at the MTV movie awards a year or two ago and refused to read what was on the teleprompter because apparently it said "whoa!" or "dude!"

Corrine2, you seriously need to get over it. How would I feel? I'm not a public figure. I didn't blow the President of the United States without thinking about the possible consequences.

Pal Joey, you are coming close to being the first person I've ever blocked on this forum.

IN the mean time, why don't you just kiss my arse?

Boy, Georgie has a bad night at the debate and all the conservatives on this board get SO testy!

I guess being pro-Bush means you can dish it out but you can't take it.

Every time I've dished it out on this forum all the little liberal pansies like yourself bash me because only liberal opinions are allowed here.

Are you intending "pansy" as a personal slur?

No it's intended to be a broad label.

I don't personal unless you really piss me off.

Well, "little liberal pansies like yourself" is offensive. I think you knew that when you said it.

Then why did you ask if I intended it as a personal slur?

Article I: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I don't think that says anything about anyone being protected from being ofended by anyone else.

Yes but there are guidelines for posting on this board:

From Rob's Guidelines:

Just a general reminder as to the two main guidelines regarding what will get a post deleted on this board...

1) Please post with courtesy (and common sense) - no use of profanity, obscenities, or name calling.

2) No personal attacks - we all have different opinions - disagree with the view, not with the person.

Hey Rodent, you should apologize for that homophobic slur NOW. If that doesn't get you banned from the Board, there is no justice.

Do the right thing. Edit it and apologize.
