Rodney, it is highly offensive to call someone that. Especially here where 98% of the men are gay. Nobody should bash anyone here, but when you offend someone and they call you on it, they nice thing to do is apologize.

Rodney is such a freaking bigot--and is too unintelligent to realize it. I would say that anyone who hates Muslims and other people for their religious beliefs or skin color isn't worthy of getting upset over. At least he is a consistent bigot in that he is also a homophobe and a sexist. Just lump it all over into the corner, considering the source.

Now when did I EVER say anything about skin color?
Skin color is something a person can't help. Religon is not.
When did I EVER say anything against women (sexist)?
I've gone on the record a number of times on this forum stating how much I like and admire women.

The only thing I've ever said about homosexuals is I have on occaision used various words to indicate homosexual that people have not liked. So in the interest of keeping my list of "no no" words up to date, I will add "pansy" to it.

Is "gay" acceptable or not?

Rodney, there is a major problem with using a homophobic slur, and there's a big difference between something that "isn't pro-homosexual" and something blatantly homophobic.

I don't think mom was sticking up for you, Rodney. If she is, I'm really disappointed in her, too.

Sorry if I don't take it so lightly. Bullying is a serious problem in this country -- especially in our schools. It's hard enough for young gay kids; this kind of homophobia makes the whole process of coming out difficult, even deadly.

If you called someone an ethnic or racial slur, no one would tolerate it here. Anti-gay slurs are just as offensive and no one should look the other way.

Well, for the record, I didn't know Paljoey was gay.

Isn't is bigitous to automatically think that all men here are gay? Isn't that labeling the group?

I actually used the word "pansy" to indicate a particular group of people... not gay ones. That group includes many people, including hetero, gay, lesbian, etc.

Now.... I MUST do some work and stop farting aroudn with you all.

So... I will return and look at this post in about six hours.

So... if I don't respond until then DON'T think you've won, or I've backed-down, etc.
